Harry Kane made an impressive start to his Bundesliga career, scoring and assisting a goal to ensure Bayern Munich's successful title defence with a 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen. The record-breaking £100m signing wasted no time in making an impact, as within just four minutes, he brilliantly set up Leroy Sane for the team's first goal with a skillful through-ball that allowed the German forward to score.
The England captain then scored his first Bayern goal in the 74th minute with a cool low finish inside the box.
Kane was substituted in the 84th minute after appearing to suffer with cramp.
Sane found the back of the net for the second time in the game just six minutes later. Mathys Tel, who replaced Kane, added a fourth goal in stoppage-time. Kane's remarkable debut in the Bundesliga made up for his previous underwhelming performance when he entered as a substitute during Bayern's 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup last weekend.
