Buckingham Palace has unveiled the Christmas card that King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be sending out this year. The card showcases a photo captured in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace after the King's coronation on May 6th, as announced by the Palace.
The palace confirmed that King Charles is adorned in a robe crafted from purple silk velvet, embellished with gold embroidery, previously worn by King George VI in 1937.
According to the palace, Queen Camilla is dressed in a white robe that was designed and intricately hand embroidered by the Royal School of Needlework.
This is the second card released by the palace under King Charles's reign and the first to feature him as king. The 2022 Christmas card displays a photo of him and his wife at the Braemar Games in Scotland on September 3, just five days before Queen Elizabeth II's passing. Additionally, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a Christmas photo of their family on their own Christmas card.
The Prince and Princess are pictured in Windsor with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
