Jason Kelce recently had a night out with his brother Travis Kelce, following his retirement announcement from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both Jason, 36, and Travis, 34, were recognized by the Cleveland Cavaliers during a game against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, March 5, at Ohio’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The brothers, who hail from Cleveland Heights, proudly wore custom Cavaliers jerseys with their last names and NFL numbers. Travis kept his outfit simple with all-black attire, while Jason went for a more casual look with jeans, a green coat, and an NBA All-Star hat.

Before the game started, the brothers were honored with a standing ovation as they stepped onto center court. Jason was presented with a framed No. 62 Jersey in recognition of his retirement from the NFL. Travis proudly held up the frame while Jason delighted the crowd by displaying a yellow Cleveland Heights T-shirt from his childhood. To show their appreciation, the Cavaliers distributed special "Kelce Brothers" bobbleheads to the fans.

The official Cavaliers Instagram account posted a video from the event with the caption, "Congrats on an amazing career to Cleveland Heights legend, Jason Kelce! #LetEmKnow." In a separate post featuring pictures from the game, the team exclaimed, "CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, REPRESENTTTTT."

The gifts kept coming for Jason. Not only did he receive rocking hardware, but he was also given a custom crystal-encrusted basketball and a Luchador mask that looked like the one he wore while celebrating Travis' Super Bowl LVIII win in Las Vegas last month.

On Monday, March 4, Jason made it official. After playing 13 years as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles, he announced his retirement from the NFL.

"I purposely didn't make a formal announcement... but people can sense things from body language," Jason clarified. "I believe that after a game like that, it's not the right time to make such a decision. Emotions are running high, and there's too much happening in the moment to fully comprehend that choice."

He emphasized the importance of retiring on his own terms, ensuring a definitive and respectful conclusion to his career that acknowledges the people who have influenced him greatly.

During that period, Travis, who later won the Super Bowl this year by defeating the Eagles, expressed that it was challenging to witness his brother's season come to an end in such a manner.

He said, “I think everyone in the football world felt this one.” He mentioned that there was a lot of emotion at the end of the game for the team. He also shared that he felt it himself and knew that Kylie, mom, dad, and everyone at the game felt the same way.
