Travis and Jason Kelce both get excited when their teams go head-to-head on the field, but they would rather not be the sole focus of attention.
"It's unfortunate because a lot of times the spotlight is on us and not on our teammates who are equally contributing in the game," commented Jason, aged 36, in a bonus episode of the brothers' "New Heights" podcast released on Friday, November 17th. "That's why it feels strange when the headlines primarily highlight us, when there are so many other players out there giving their all as well."
Jason, a center for the Philidelphia Eagles, mentioned that although the increased attention can be overwhelming at times, he and his siblings truly enjoy competing against each other and witnessing their loved ones come together for the significant occasion. He also expressed that both organizations have a strong sense of familiarity, with many friends and family members getting excited to watch a game in which they both participate. Jason stated that these factors hold great significance for them and bring about a week-long feeling of enjoyment.
Travis expressed immense joy whenever his Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Eagles, describing it as "incredibly enjoyable." As a tight end for the Chiefs, he revealed his delight simply by being part of the NFL, let alone sharing the field with his older brother. The games brought their entire family and friends together to witness these moments of unity. Travis acknowledged that despite the final score, he experienced endless fun in each and every game they have played together.
Jason reminded listeners that the Chiefs have always emerged victorious against the Eagles ever since he and Travis became teammates. In a historic moment last February, the brothers faced each other for the first time in a Super Bowl, with Kansas City clinching a 38-25 victory. The next encounter between the two teams is scheduled for Monday, November 20, at Arrowhead Stadium, where a majority of their family will be present.

Travis expressed his stance on the upcoming showdown, stating, "I do not view it as a Super Bowl rematch. Instead, in my mind, it is the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023. Both teams have undergone changes since last year, so no matter how similar they may seem, it is never identical. I perceive it as having little connection to what occurred a year ago, or even less than that, I suppose." Not only will Jason's wife, Kylie Kelce, and their parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, be present at the game, but Taylor Swift's family, who are longtime Eagles fans from Pennsylvania, will also be in attendance.
Since September, there has been a romantic connection between Swift, aged 33, and Travis. This connection was first witnessed when the pop star attended Travis' game against the Chicago Bears. Subsequently, she has been seen supporting him alongside 71-year-old Donna and Ed in their private family box. Similarly, Travis has formed a bond with Taylor's father, Scott Swift, during his attendance at her Eras Tour in Argentina. Interestingly, Scott, aged 71, even wore a Chiefs lanyard for the occasion.
A reliable source disclosed to us earlier this month that Taylor and Travis have introduced their respective parents to each other. This development is only natural as their relationship has become significantly serious. Both Taylor and Travis share a strong relationship with their parents, so it is essential for their families to blend harmoniously.
The insider added that Swift, who will be performing in Brazil this weekend, is “trying to manage” a way to Monday’s game, as she wants to be there when the couple’s parents first meet.
