Vanderpump Rules actor Brock Davies became visibly emotional when discussing his children from his previous marriage. He appeared on Scheana Shay's "Scheananigans" podcast on January 12th, where he addressed various topics, including whether he was able to visit his kids during his recent trip to Australia with Shay.
"It's a challenging situation. My actions in the past have caused trauma for my kids, especially when they were younger. I need to keep showing up and prove that I can be the father they need and want in their lives," Davies stated. Before marrying Shay, 38, Davies had a daughter, Winter, and a son, Eli, with his ex-wife. (Davies and Shay also have a 2-year-old daughter named Summer.)
“I know everyone is interested in my two little ones and I love that and they are top of mind. But every time I go back home, the goal is to be able to have that door open there so when they want to heal that relationship with me, hopefully they can build that trust up,” he continued on Friday. “It is tough. My actions put me here and now I just need to keep being aware that I need to take my time with this and keep turning up.”

Davies admitted that he was aware Bravo fans would want an update as he and Shay shared their trip on social media. "I wish I could announce that we reunited, but it's going to take time," he said, revealing that he hadn't seen his son or daughter. "They are transitioning from preschool to high school, so there are many changes in their lives, and I don't want to add to that. They have a caring father, a loving half sister, and a wonderful home. At the moment, that is their focus, and I respect that."
In Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, Davies' oldest children played a significant role in the storyline. In a November 2021 episode, he confessed to a complicated and toxic relationship with his ex, admitting to slapping her during an argument.
Davies went on to say, "After that, we relocated to France. My son was born, we split up. Then we discovered I was expecting my daughter. This caused a disagreement between me and her father, and a domestic violence order was filed against me."
At that time, Davies stated that he contested the accusation in court and it was dropped. Despite this, his relationship with his ex-wife did not improve, and she reportedly took their children away. Davies later admitted that he stopped paying child support, which prevented him from reuniting with his kids.
"We have fulfilled all of our child support obligations and are now focusing on building a positive relationship with the children's mother and stepfather," he stated during the podcast on Friday. "Our goal is to consistently meet our child support responsibilities and maintain open communication with them."
The conversation shifted to the former rugby player expressing his desire for his children to eventually reconnect with him. Shay also suggested that their relationship with Davies' ex-wife has improved, as they now receive regular photos of the children.

Shay tried to steer the conversation in a different direction with a fan question as Davies became emotional.
"I have a part of me that wants to fight fiercely. But then there's another part that reminds me that this is a difficult balancing act. Actions have consequences," he said, tears streaming down his face during the podcast. "Just listening to you talk about it [reminds me] that I have to keep on the path I'm on. I'm satisfied with the changes I've made in my life and I'm truly happy about that."
