According to a Chicago security official, the name that everyone is talking about is not Tom Sandoval.

After a recent Broadway musical performance in New York City, an employee at Ambassador Theatre set some guidelines for fans who were waiting to meet the current star, Ariana Madix, at the stage door.

"Hey Ariana fans, how are you all doing?" a security guard kindly reminded in a video shared on social media on Monday, March 4th. "Just a quick heads up, let's keep the focus on Ariana and not mention her ex. He's not important here. Thank you for understanding."

Madix, who is 38 years old, stars as Roxie Hart in the Broadway show Chicago, marking her debut on the Great White Way. After the performance, it's a tradition for fans to gather outside the theater hoping to meet the cast. Madix, along with other actors, often take pictures with fans and sign their Playbill programs from the show.

Madix’s Broadway gig comes one year after she and Sandoval, 41, split after nine years of dating. They ended their relationship in March 2023 when Madix found out about Sandoval’s secret affair with Vanderpump Rules costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Despite apologies from Sandoval and Leviss, 29, Madix has been focusing on moving forward and healing on her own.

Madix exclusively shared with We in her October 2023 cover story that this situation helped her see that she is capable of overcoming challenges. She mentioned that even when the worst-case scenario happened, she was able to handle it and come out okay.

She also mentioned that therapy played a significant role in helping her deal with the situation. Madix credited therapy for helping her cope "100 percent" and move forward.

She told Us that the therapy she was doing before everything happened helped her be in a better place. She mentioned that things could have been much worse.

Sandoval faced backlash for cheating, while Madix received support from the Bravo community and online.

Sandoval expressed feeling overwhelmed by the amount of hate he received, even more than convicted rapist Danny Masterson. He mentioned this during an interview with The New York Times Magazine in February. Masterson is currently in prison for alleged sexual assault. Sandoval also mentioned witnessing major events like the O.J. Simpson trial and the death of George Floyd in 2020. He acknowledged that comparing his situation to these events may seem strange, but wondered if there were any similarities.

A few days later, Sandoval issued an apology for making such controversial comparisons.
