Francesca and John from Bridgerton are loved by many as a new couple, but don't expect to see any steamy sex scenes between them.

Victor Alli, in an exclusive interview with We, shared his thoughts on whether his character, John, and Francesca will have any intimate moments on screen.

Alli joked with Us, saying, "They're so different from the other couples. I don't know. Maybe. Who knows? I just like to be in line with their relationship and dynamic." She mentioned that having steamy hot scenes would probably be intense for them.

Alli questioned if it would make sense to see Francesca and John have sex, considering they had only recently started holding hands. She added, "We're trying to walk before we can run. Who knows? But that would be interesting."

Season 3 of the popular Netflix series introduced us to the ideal match for Francesca. However, fans of the Julia Quinn novels, which the series is based on, are aware that a surprise is on the horizon. Francesca and John are currently experiencing their romantic journey, with the first part of the third season concluding with them looking forward to what lies ahead.

Alli was excited to portray the sweet bond between Francesca and John on screen.

Working with Hannah was an absolute blast. She's not only cool but also an incredible and amazing actress. Collaborating with her was a pleasure as we shared ideas and thoughts about our scenes and characters. We would exchange ideas on what could happen in the scene and what our characters would say.

During breaks, we would discuss the characters, the story, and the journey. I learned a lot from her, and it was truly a joy to work with her.

In Bridgerton, fictional men often exude confidence, but Alli found it refreshing to play a more subtle character. Similar to Francesca, John preferred a more subdued approach to courtship, which was just as successful.

Alli joked about feeling nervous during her audition, as she had to follow in the footsteps of actors like Regé-Jean Page, Jonathan Bailey, and Luke Newton who were known for their great flirting and pouting. She felt relieved that she didn't have to do the same and was able to do something really interesting instead.

Alli went on to explain that there is much more to John than what meets the eye.

He explained how John approaches the marriage mart and Francesca with a natural rapport, sharing a common awkwardness and introverted nature. Their dynamic just works, without any need for questioning. Who knows what the future holds for John and Francesca? The next stage of their story may reveal different sides to them, adding depth to their characters. It was enjoyable to portray the slow burn and nervous energy in their relationship.

Before the second part of season 3 was released, Alli hinted at what fans can anticipate for John and Francesca.

Francesca really wants to work, despite the Queen and Violet having other plans for her. What's great about Francesca is that she steps out of her usual introvertedness and expresses her desire to be with John. John also opens up more and they communicate better.

The first half of Bridgerton season 3 is now available on Netflix, with the rest of the episodes releasing on Thursday, June 13.
