Jonathan Bailey and Regé-Jean Page had a surprise Bridgerton reunion in Los Angeles at CAA's pre-Oscar party on Friday, March 8. The actors, both 35, posed for a photo together at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Bailey and Page were both dressed to impress at the event. Bailey wore a black cardigan over a white T-shirt while Page looked sharp in a black blazer and matching slacks, topped off with a delicate silver chain.

Both Bailey and Page have been in the acting industry for many years, but their careers really took off in 2020 when they scored roles on the popular Netflix series Bridgerton. This steamy drama, based on Julia Quinn's regency romance novels, follows the Bridgerton family as they navigate the marriage market in London. Season 1 focused on Daphne, the fourth sibling, as she makes her debut in British high society and enters into a fake-dating romance with Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings.

Daphne and Simon got their happy ending on the show, but Page decided not to come back for season 2 of the popular Shondaland series.

During an interview with Variety in April 2021, Page explained his decision by saying, "It’s a one-season arc. It’s going to have a beginning, middle, end – give us a year." He added, "[I thought] ‘That’s interesting,’ because then it felt like a limited series. I get to come in, I get to contribute my bit, and then the Bridgerton family rolls on."

Just like in the Bridgerton books, each TV season focuses on a different Bridgerton sibling. In season 2, Anthony Bridgerton (played by Bailey) gets his chance at love with Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley). Season 3 shifts the spotlight to Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan).

Adjoa Andoh, who portrays Lady Danbury, hinted at some exciting developments for the upcoming seasons. She mentioned that there will be plenty of spice in various aspects of the show, promising a fun and interesting experience for fans who enjoy that element.

Andoh, 61, shared that in season 3, fans will get a deeper look into her character's understanding of Penelope's situation based on her own experiences. She mentioned the theme of being overlooked, similar to Penelope's situation as a woman who may never marry.

Comparing Penelope's spinsterhood to Lady Danbury's widowhood, Andoh expressed her excitement for season 3. She believes that having the background knowledge of young Lady Danbury from the Queen Charlotte prequel will enhance the viewing experience. Understanding how Lady Danbury navigated through life and stayed relevant will add depth to season 3.

Bridgerton was renewed for a third and fourth season in 2021. It remains a mystery as to which Bridgerton sibling will be the focus of season 4, as the show has strayed from the sequence of Quinn's novels. Some fans believe that season 4 will center around Eloise Bridgerton (played by Claudia Jessie).

The first half of Bridgerton season 3 will debut on Netflix on Thursday, May 16, followed by the second set of episodes on Thursday, June 13.
