Rangers have secured the services of forward Abdallah Sima on a loan deal for the entire season. The 22-year-old, who previously faced Rangers twice last year as part of Slavia Prague, joined Brighton for a fee of approximately £7m. However, he has not yet featured in any matches for the Premier League team.
Sima, a Senegal international, initially joined Stoke City on loan for his debut year, following which he signed with Angers the previous season, where he netted six goals in 37 matches. With two more years remaining on his current contract with Brighton, he finalized his transfer to Glasgow on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Rangers have had an opening bid for Feyenoord striker Danilo rejected.

The Ibrox club is still interested in signing the Brazilian player, who scored 14 goals in all competitions last season. However, they have not reached an agreement regarding the fee.
Rangers are also pursuing other deals, showing interest in Cyriel Dessers, a striker from Cremonese, and Jose Cifuentes, a midfielder from Los Angeles FC.
Manager Michael Beale has already successfully integrated Sam Lammers, Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, and Kieran Dowell into his squad, and he is reportedly satisfied with the club's business thus far. Additionally, there has been speculation surrounding potential departures this summer, with Rangers players Scott Wright and Glen Kamara being among those attracting interest.
