Its safe to say that Harry Kane is enjoying life in Germany.
The England captain made his high-profile move from boyhood club Tottenham to Bayern Munich in August and he hasnt looked back.
Following his two-goal performance against Heidenheim on Saturday, the striker has now reached a total of 17 league goals for this season. Currently, no other player in the Bundesliga has managed to score more goals after 11 games. Robert Lewandowski, once a key player for Bayern, held the previous record with 16 goals. Furthermore, Kane, who is currently the top scorer in the league, has also netted four goals in the Champions League. It is worth noting that Bayern, who are leading the Bundesliga, have yet to lose any points in the group stage.
Bayern Munich's sports director Christoph Freund, per Reuters, expressed his admiration after Kane's remarkable performance in the team's 4-2 victory against Heidenheim. Freund stated, "It is truly impressive to see him score like that in his first time playing outside of the UK. The team has also been instrumental in setting him up for success. He is undeniably a phenomenon."
Before his move from England to Germany, Kane was already recognized as a world-class talent and the second highest goal scorer in Premier League history. However, there was uncertainty surrounding his ability to replicate his success at Tottenham.
In a resounding manner, the 30-year-old has decisively responded to that doubt by surpassing previous records.

He can do anything
"I believe he can do anything," Bayerns veteran forward Thomas Mueller said, per Reuters.
"We just need to get him in the right position. If he manages to take a shot within or near the penalty area, the probability of the ball going into the net is high."
Kane is set to join the England squad later this week for two upcoming international matches against Malta and North Macedonia, and then he will return to Germany.
Despite his numerous record-breaking accomplishments, Kane has yet to secure a significant championship in his career. However, this season, he appears to be unwaveringly focused on altering that outcome.
Acknowledging the contributions of his team, Kane expressed his gratitude while maintaining a humble demeanor regarding his personal achievements.
"They provide me with the opportunities. I enjoy playing in this team."
