Jude Bellingham had a remarkable debut at Real Madrid, solidifying his position as one of soccer's most promising talents. His outstanding performance in El Clásico against Barcelona, where his club secured a 2-1 victory, further showcased his brilliance. In the dying moments of the game, he skillfully connected with Luka Modrić's cross and executed a stunning volley to secure the winning goal, igniting jubilant celebrations both on and off the pitch.

Bellingham secured his second goal of the game, following his equalizer in the 68th minute. Receiving the ball outside the box, he deftly controlled it with a tap before effortlessly launching a potent strike into the back of the net.

Reflecting on his team's impressive comeback, Bellingham expressed his fondness for such thrilling matches. In an interview with Reals website after the game, he stated, "I am always thrilled by comebacks. Although it puts pressure on the heart, these games are truly enjoyable. We displayed extraordinary determination, never giving up, and I am exceedingly delighted with our performance."

He has now scored 13 goals in 13 games for Real Madrid this season, 10 of those in La Liga making him the leagues top scorer.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed that he believes the player has the potential to score 20 or 25 goals, despite not being considered a striker. Bellingham's signing with Real Madrid in June for €103 million ($110.4m), along with additional fees, generated high expectations for the talented attacking midfielder.

But he has exceeded all expectations, transforming into one of Europe's most prolific goalscorers while putting his defensive play on the backburner in Madrid. With each added layer of pressure, his performances only continue to improve.

During his childhood, Bellingham would watch Clásicos from the comfort of his family's sofa. "I informed them before the match that today it was my turn to experience it firsthand and achieve something extraordinary," he shared, as stated on Real Madrid's website. "I have accomplished that, and I am extremely pleased."

At just 20 years old, Bellingham has quickly transitioned from being a mere spectator of those matches to becoming an outstanding player for both his club and country. His pivotal role in leading England to a triumphant 3-1 win over Italy last week solidifies his growing stature. Notably, it is not only his impressive skills on the field but also his level-headedness and wise decision-making that earns accolades from his manager at Real Madrid.

"We are all amazed by his exceptional performance and the level he has reached," commented Ancelotti on the team's website.

"He displays the skills and mindset of an experienced player. His positive attitude is commendable. The more he approaches the goal, the more impressive his performance becomes. He is undeniably the player who has had the most significant impact."

"Today he was stupendous and shocked everyone with his wonderful goal from the edge of the area," added Ancelotti, per Reuters.
