Jarrod Bowen, the forward for West Ham and England, has agreed to a new contract with the Hammers. This seven-year deal will see him stay at the London Stadium until 2030. Bowen, who was previously contracted until 2025, has emerged as the top scorer for the club this season, having scored five goals in the first eight Premier League matches.
He has played in every Premier League match so far this season and has only missed two league games since the beginning of the 2020/21 season, scoring a total of 31 goals in the league during that period.
The highlight of the 26-year-old's career with the Hammers so far was the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in May. His decisive goal in the final moments secured a 2-1 victory for the club, earning him a spot in UEFA's team of the tournament.
"I am incredibly delighted to have recently inked a fresh, extended deal with West Ham," expressed Bowen in an interview with the club's official website.
"The profound significance of this club in my life is widely recognized, hence why securing my commitment until 2030 holds immense value for both myself and my family."

The Europa Conference League final in May saw West Ham emerge victorious against Fiorentina, with Jarrod Bowen scoring the winning goal. My time here has been absolutely incredible, and the moment of clinching the title in Prague will forever hold a special place in my heart, especially as I scored the decisive goal in the final minute.
We all yearn for that sensation repeatedly - the desire to generate countless more cherished moments collectively, both for our devoted fans and our exceptional football club.
Bowen originally joined West Ham from Hull in January 2020 for an initial amount of £18m, with an opportunity to earn an additional £7m in extras.
He has played a total of 166 matches for the club across various competitions, scoring 45 goals, including nine in European matches. Manager David Moyes expressed his delight at Jarrod's decision to sign a new long-term contract, praising it as a great move by the club.
The memorable goal he scored in Prague will have a lasting impact on all those associated with West Ham. It has provided him with a strong foundation to excel, and we are currently enjoying the advantages as he continues to improve.
Not only is he a remarkable individual, but also an exceptional professional. I am confident that his positive trajectory will persist throughout his new contract.
Moyes pays added tribute to Bowen after Newcastle draw
Following West Ham's 2-2 draw with Newcastle on Sunday, Moyes commended his winger's exceptional performance during the game. In addition, Moyes disclosed his belief that the forward will transition to a different position before the conclusion of his career.
He praised the player's impressive performance since his arrival, mentioning that he continues to show improvement. Even on that day, he thought he had scored, but Pope made an exceptional save with his hand, which had the potential to alter the outcome of the game.
The player's development has been remarkable, starting from Hereford and progressing up the ranks. Now, he has an opportunity to be part of the England squad to showcase his talents. It is believed that he will continue to improve and may eventually transition into a center-forward position, although this is just a personal opinion.
