Valve has extended the refund period until December 1, 2023, giving affected players ample time to make their choices. Players using DirectX 9 and 32-bit Windows can also request a refund if they made their purchase on Steam between the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test announcement and the official launch of Counter-Strike 2. In addition, Valve is offering a legacy version of CS:GO (a static version of the game) for those unable to run Counter-Strike 2.
