Bayern Munich has presented their ultimate proposal for Harry Kane and expects a prompt decision from Tottenham. If Spurs delay in responding, the German champions are prepared to explore other potential options.

According to Sky in Germany, Bayern has made an offer of over €100m euros (£86.24m) for the 30-year-old player, including add-ons. As of Friday evening, Tottenham had not yet responded to the offer, as reported by Sky in Germany.

We News reported previously that there was at least a £20m gap in valuation. Bayern believe they have improved on this and feel their proposal is fair and final.

Kane's contract with Spurs expires next summer, posing a risk for the team as keeping him beyond the current transfer window could result in losing an exceptional goalscorer for free next summer, potentially to a rival in the Premier League.

This summer, Kane is not willing to sign a new contract with Tottenham. Instead, his preference is to join Bayern Munich, even though there are other interested clubs, including French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

If Spurs accept the offer We News believes the transfer could happen quickly.

Kane has the potential to earn approximately £11m net per year under a five-year contract. This income will be comprised of a basic salary, number of games played, and bonuses. Furthermore, Kane has not dismissed the possibility of making a comeback to the Premier League in the future.

In a disappointing season for Spurs, Kane netted 30 goals in the Premier League, resulting in the team finishing eighth and failing to qualify for European football. Furthermore, Spurs have been trophy-less since 2008. As of now, Kane holds the record for the most goals scored for Tottenham, with a total of 280 goals in 435 appearances. His first goal for Spurs was scored in December 2011.

According to Sky in Italy, Tottenham is said to have a keen interest in acquiring Porto's Mehdi Taremi as a striker. The Iranian forward comes with a price tag of £26m, as stated by Porto.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have agreed a deal with Rosario Central to sign striker Alejo Veliz.

However, it has not yet been decided whether the player will return to the Argentine club on loan.

Spurs consider Veliz a promising talent for future growth, having outmatched other clubs in securing his signature. Enjoy streaming the Premier League and more on NOW for only £26 per month for a 12-month period. Cancel at any time.

Spurs step up striker search

Harry Kane is just 48 goals from breaking Alan Shearer's Premier League scoring record

The price you pay is reflective of what you receive in return. Therefore, as Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy engages in negotiations with Bayern Munich's CEO, striker Harry Kane will carefully ponder the benefits and value of a potential transfer. Although he has expressed openness to the idea, his stance on not leaving if an agreement is not reached before the first Premier League match serves as a clear testament to his unwavering loyalty to his childhood club.

Kane's motive for this move goes beyond money - it is about his legacy. Becoming Bayern's highest-paid player is secondary to his desire to secure his place in history. One aspect that should be taken into account is the Premier League goalscoring record. Kane has publicly expressed his ambition to claim this prestigious title, having already established impressive scoring records for Tottenham and England. Previously, this pursuit has been cited as a reason for him not considering a move overseas. With 30 goals scored in the previous season, he is tantalizingly close to achieving this record as well.

However, a potential transfer to Bayern in Germany does not necessarily mean the end of his goal. Reports suggest that a five-year contract is being discussed. Regardless of whether the contract is signed or not, there is still a chance for Kane, who has taken great care of his physical condition, to resume his pursuit of surpassing Alan Shearer's record of 48 goals. Moreover, a move to Bayern would almost certainly secure the elusive team trophy that is currently missing from his list of achievements.
