Harry Kane is set to complete a £100m transfer to Bayern Munich, following a medical examination on Friday. The England captain is optimistic about making his debut on Saturday, having arrived in Germany on Friday evening. Kane successfully underwent the initial phase of his medical evaluation at Barmherzige Bruder hospital in west Munich.
The 30-year-old has completed the second part of his medical at Bayern's Sabener Strasse training center, bringing his move nearer to its conclusion.
Kane has the potential to appear in his Bayern debut this Saturday, as they face RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup. The match will be broadcast live on We. However, in order to play at the Allianz Arena, he must be registered by 2pm UK time on Saturday.

Tottenham's leading goal scorer received notification at approximately 3pm on Friday that his move to Bayern had been finalized, granting him permission to journey to Munich for his medical examination.
Kane boarded his flight at 4.50pm UK time and arrived at Oberpfaffenhofen airport, situated just outside Munich, at 6.10pm UK time.
Tottenham and Bayern have struck a deal for Kane, with an initial fee of £86m and additional add-ons pushing the price to nearly £100m – a record-breaking fee for both Bayern and the Bundesliga. Upon hearing about the agreement between the clubs on Thursday, Kane made the decision to accept Bayern's offer.
How Kane's day unfolded
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel described the bid to sign Kane as the club's "highest priority" on Friday.
"Our goal is to secure the transfer of the captain of the English national team from England and the Premier League," Tuchel noted. "This speaks volumes. It is a significant endeavor that we are actively pursuing, a major signing we are currently engaged in, but we are still in the midst of the process." Additionally, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Kane's transfer is "imminent."
"I spoke to Harry on the first day of my arrival, and he was frank and sincere, and so was I," Postecoglou continued. "It gave me the impression that he had already decided that he would leave if the clubs reached an agreement."
"It is only right that our supporters feel a sense of mourning and sorrow on a day like today, considering the club's lack of success. Despite this, he has been a hero to them."

Spurs had a disappointing season last year, finishing eighth and missing out on European football. However, Kane managed to score an impressive 30 Premier League goals. Despite his individual success, the team has not won a trophy since 2008. Notably, Kane has a remarkable record of 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs, with his first goal dating back to December 2011.
With 213 goals in 320 Premier League games, he is currently 48 goals off breaking Alan Shearer's record as the highest scorer in Premier League history.

Jamie Redknapp expressed sympathy for Ange Postecoglou, acknowledging the challenging situation the manager faces in preparing his team for the upcoming season. Redknapp emphasized that the impending departure of the team's star player, occurring mere hours before the start of the season, is unfortunate. He suggested that it would have been more ideal for the player's move to have been finalized earlier, such as a couple of months ago or even a month ago, allowing Postecoglou the best chance to optimize his team's prospects.
There seems to be a lack of consideration from Daniel Levy, the person making these decisions, regarding what is best for the team. When a new manager arrives, it is important to provide them with all the resources necessary to have a strong opportunity of reclaiming a position in the top four.
While it is possible that the deal may have resulted in a bit more money, that does not necessarily mean it is the right move for the team.
"It's a massive blow for the Spurs supporters,

you empathize with them as their beloved icon is set to depart just a day prior to the commencement of the season. Harry Kane is truly irreplaceable."Describing this transfer in words is arduous. It is more than just a transfer; it entails acquiring Harry Kane, the Premier League superstar and captain of the Three Lions. It would send a significant message to Bayern Munich, Germany, and the Bundesliga.
The objective for Kane is to clinch the Champions League title with Bayern Munich, under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel, rather than focusing solely on the Bundesliga. The aspiration is to achieve the treble, and Kane is the perfect player to help accomplish this feat.

Bayern Munich executive board member Andreas Jung exclusively told We, "I believe it represents the financial progression of football. This is the first time we are paying such a significant amount for a player. However, we are aware that other teams with investors do not view a €100m player as a major concern. It is a unique situation for us."
Furthermore, it demonstrates our ability to compete with other teams. With our newly formed team, we possess the potential to emerge victorious in any competition we participate in. Consequently, I believe this acquisition is highly promising. Harry Kane's presence, along with the contributions of our other players, will undoubtedly be beneficial. As a result, there is much anticipation for his debut on the field.
Redknapp: Spurs should have done Kane deal earlier to give Ange time to adapt
According to Paul Merson, he is undoubtedly a top player. With his incredible performance in the 2018 World Cup, where he scored the highest number of goals, as well as consistently being the leading scorer in England every year, there is no room for debate regarding his prowess as a football player."Tottenham cannot afford to reject this offer, considering that there is only one year remaining on his contract and the likelihood of him leaving for free is high.
"While it is true that he is already 30 years old, I am not concerned about that. Based on his style of play, I firmly believe he can continue playing until the age of 35 or 36 without any difficulty. His game does not rely on speed, and his intelligence is on par with the best."
I am still astonished today, questioning why Manchester United did not make the acquisition. Had they done so, they would have benefitted from his abilities for a significant span of four or five years, ultimately leading them to victory in the Premier League.
There is simply no alternative - it is inconceivable that they allow him to depart without any compensation next season. Regardless of who you may be, especially in the current era where the Premier League is synonymous with vast wealth, it would be unreasonable to let such an opportunity slip away.
Will this Tottenham team secure a place in the top four next season? I highly doubt it. Therefore, it is not a guarantee that by keeping him, they will definitely make it to the top four. So, any potential loss incurred by selling him can be recovered through participation in the Champions League. However, that scenario is unlikely to occur.
Despite Kane scoring 30 goals last season, Tottenham finished far from the top. It is unfortunate for Ange Postecoglou, but without Kane, the team's chances of finishing in the top four diminish significantly. In fact, they might not even manage to secure a spot in the top half. If he leaves, they will undoubtedly become a bottom half team.
"Who is going to get the goals? They finished eighth last season. I like James Maddison, he's a good player, but Leicester got relegated."
