Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll, her husband, have joyfully announced the arrival of their first child. After enduring a long and challenging journey with fertility, the couple's representative confirmed on Monday, July 10, that they welcomed a beautiful baby boy through surrogacy.
Earlier this year, Andrews, aged 45, shared her journey to parenthood exclusively with We. In January, she expressed that becoming a parent was a challenging experience for both her and her husband, stating, "It's not easy."
During that time, Andrews also discussed how she and Stoll, aged 41, were doing well. Reflecting on her lessons from undergoing IVF, she humorously mentioned that she could handle the 50 needles in her stomach better than her husband, who would retreat to another room to watch Seinfeld. Asserting her strength and resilience, Andrews assured herself that she could handle the process and that things would improve.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, have relied on their friends and the ability to find humor in even the most challenging situations. Andrews further explained her decision to openly discuss her struggles with infertility, stating, "There's no need to feel embarrassed, especially when many others are experiencing the same thing."
In August 2021, Andrews addressed her IVF journey, describing it as time-consuming and emotionally draining, in an essay for the Bulletin. "I've been undergoing these treatments since I turned 35... Instead of feeling ashamed, we should be more compassionate towards ourselves," she expressed. "It's a tough situation, and it can often feel isolating. But there are so many of us going through this, and it's time we start talking about it."

In a later interview with Us, Andrews shared her journey to motherhood, describing it as a "really, really rough" path filled with numerous failures. Despite the challenges, she expressed her desire to be a source of inspiration and positivity for other couples who are undergoing a similar process.
"This situation is unpleasant and disappointing, but I want you to know that I am here to support you. I can relate to what you're going through," she expressed in November 2021, while describing what she would say to other hopeful parents. "I am facing similar challenges and it's easy to start questioning oneself, wondering why others have found success while we haven't. However, the truth is that not many people do find success. That's why I believe in being open about it."
Andrews and Stoll got married in Montana after being in a relationship for over four years. Stoll proposed during a trip to Disneyland in December 2016.
