Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba does not follow a specific release pattern in terms of a fixed period or month. However, fans have noticed that there is usually a significant gap of about a year and a half between seasons. Based on this trend, it is highly anticipated that Demon Slayer season 4 will likely premiere in the Winter of 2024.

Remaining faithful to Koyoharu Gotouge’s original source material, the third season completely adapted the Swordsmith Village Arc, which spans from chapter 98, "The Upper Ranks Gather," to chapter 127, "The Rumble of Victory." Similar to the Entertainment District Arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc was also planned for a 12-episode season.

Although the Hashira Training Arc is smaller compared to the Mugen Train Arc, it is highly probable that Demon Slayer season 4 will include some adaptation of the Infinity Castle Arc from the Final Battle saga. Alternatively, Ufotable may decide to transform the entire arc into a second film. As a result, the remaining two arcs of the Final Battle saga may be covered in season 4 and future seasons. It should be noted that these are all speculative assumptions since the anime has not released any further information about upcoming developments.
