Leaving Zenitsu On His Own At Mt Natagumo.

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were sent to Mt Natagumo, a notorious area where lower-ranking Demon Slayers had gone missing. Upon arrival, they felt an ominous presence lurking around them. Zenitsu, being true to his usual cowardly self, broke down in tears, which slowed down the group. Tanjiro and Inosuke decided to leave him behind and venture forward.

Despite his fear, Zenitsu bravely forged ahead in search of his companions, navigating the dense forest alone. Unfortunately, he ran into a spider demon who poisoned him and left him on the brink of death. If Zenitsu had perished, Tanjiro would have been tormented by his decision forever.

When Daki regained control of all her offsite obi sashes, she gained a significant boost in speed and strength. These sashes are sentient and their creation drains Daki's power, so having them all connected to her made her a serious threat to bystanders and civilians. To protect them, Tanjiro urgently instructed everyone to stay indoors.

Instead of assisting Rengoku in his battle against Akaza, his actions ended up causing more harm than good. His obi sashes proved to be too powerful and easily cleaved through the buildings, causing them to collapse and ultimately resulting in the deaths of innocent civilians. This realization left him feeling distraught and unable to save those who were affected.

After the grueling battle with Enmu on the Mugen Train, Tanjiro was left exhausted and with internal bleeding. Despite Rengoku's advice to use Total Concentration Constant to heal his wounds, Tanjiro knew he couldn't risk further injury.

Thus, when Akaza, the Upper Moon Four, appeared, Tanjiro was forced to watch as Rengoku battled him alone. As Akaza began targeting Rengoku's vital points, the Hashira fought to delay him until sunrise, while Tanjiro struggled to find the strength to help.

Unfortunately, it was too late. Akaza broke free from Rengoku's grasp and fled, leaving the Hashira to succumb to his injuries.

It was once believed that Demon Slayers who wielded nichirin swords with black blades were doomed to die young because of their struggle to master a breathing style. This was not the case for Tanjiro, who possessed the ability to use Water breathing. Although his sword did not turn blue, he could perform the Hinokami Kagura technique, which is a derivative of the Sun breathing style.

However, it was later revealed that the reason why the blades turned black was that the wielders were meant to be Sun breathing users from birth. Due to their inability to learn the breathing style they were destined to master, they struggled to learn other breathing styles and ultimately met their demise at the hands of demons.

During their journey on the Mugen Train, Rengoku, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tanjiro were all affected by Enmu's Blood Demon Art. A hole was punched into their train ticket, which caused them to fall asleep. Tanjiro found himself in a dream where he was living with his family. However, with the help of Nezuko, he was able to realize that he was in a dream and avoid falling victim to Enmu's spell. It was a close call, as the effects of Enmu's spell nearly caused him to lose himself completely.

He resorts to cutting his neck multiple times in an attempt to escape from his dream, driven to the brink of suicide by the spell's unrelenting grip. So frequent were these attempts that he nearly made the mistake of trying to cut his own neck in reality, mistaking it for another dream. Fortunately, Inosuke intervened before he could make any rash decisions.

Tanjiro's Fatal Missteps: A Hero's Struggle

Tanjiro was wandering the streets of Asakusa with Nezuko one night when he suddenly caught a familiar scent - the same scent he had smelled on the day his family was brutally murdered. Driven by his determination to seek revenge, he followed the scent and it led him to Kibutsuji Muzan, the demon responsible for his family's death.

As Tanjiro confronted Muzan and saw his face, the demon quickly turned a bystander into a demon and fled amidst the chaos. Fueled by his rage and thirst for justice, Tanjiro vowed to find and kill Muzan. Little did he know that this only made him Muzan's prime target, putting him in even more perilous situations.
