Bayern Munich's honorary president Uli Hoeness expressed certainty that Tottenham striker Harry Kane will join the Bundesliga champions this summer. The Allianz Arena hosted a meeting between the two clubs on Thursday to discuss Kane's potential move, but no significant advancements were achieved between Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen.
Hoeness from Bayern expressed confidence in the transfer, stating that if Harry Kane remains true to his decision, they will acquire him as Tottenham will be compelled to give in.

Harry Kane has clearly signalled in all conversations that his decision stands - and if he keeps to his word, then we'll get him, because then Tottenham will have to buckle.

"Kane wants to play internationally and luckily for us Tottenham will not be active internationally next year."
Tottenham will make ongoing efforts to convince Kane to sign a highly profitable contract extension, but they are concerned that he may choose to join another Premier League team if he allows his current deal to expire. Kane, who has not yet made any definitive decisions, was included in the Tottenham squad that embarked on their preseason tour to Australia on Friday.

We News reported earlier this week that Tottenham and Bayern have held talks over the signing of Kane, who met new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou on Wednesday.
Postecoglou is determined to build a team that plays thrilling, offensive football and hopes to include Kane in his plans. If Kane begins the season in England, it will give the club an opportunity to demonstrate a more optimistic approach to both him and other experienced players, in contrast to the previous years.
Bayern are confident that Kane desires to join them and it seems highly probable that he will choose them as his next destination if he leaves Tottenham in the near future. However, Tottenham have expressed their unwillingness to sell their all-time top scorer and have no intention of considering the £70m offer that Bayern is prepared to make.
With an impressive tally of 213 goals for Spurs, the England captain currently holds the title of being the second-highest scorer in the history of the Premier League, just behind Alan Shearer. Kane is only 48 goals away from surpassing Shearer's record.
Kane netted 30 goals in the previous season for Tottenham, despite their disappointing eighth-place finish. It is evident that Tottenham will not entertain offers from English clubs during this transfer window, thereby eliminating any possibility of a move to Manchester United. As a result, Erik ten Hag has redirected his attention towards securing the services of Danish forward Rasmus Hojlund.
Postecoglou: No guarantees over Kane future
During his first Tottenham news conference on Monday, Postecoglou revealed that he had not been given any assurances regarding Kane's future. He stated that he did not expect any guarantees, as these matters are often unpredictable and uncertain.Postecoglou emphasized his focus on the present and his knowledge that Kane is currently a part of the squad. He expressed excitement about Kane returning to training and reuniting with the team, highlighting their shared upcoming work.
If I dwell too much on the potential consequences, I'll fail to focus on team building which is crucial for our success.
I won't let this chance slip by to establish the foundation of how we want our football team to play, as I know it will be vital in the future.
"What matters in the long run transcends individuals. It is primarily focused on the overarching philosophy of our team and the key individuals within it."
Ahead of the meeting with Kane on Wednesday, Postecoglou expressed, "I believe it is not my responsibility to favorably treat individuals based on their circumstances. I strongly believe in treating everyone equally."
"Harry’s contribution to this club's history makes it imperative for me to involve him in our endeavors. In our conversation, we will focus on identifying ways to elevate the club's success - a shared desire we both have.
"I anticipate a divergence from the traditional viewpoint, as our interaction will revolve around presenting my vision to Harry, comprehending his own aspirations, and jointly striving for triumph."
