Brawl erupts during advanced screening of Five Nights at Freddy’s film

Chaotic scene unfolds at Five Nights at Freddy's movie premiere as tensions escalate among passionate fans, leading to an explosive brawl in the front row

A fight erupted during an advance showing of the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, with several moviegoers seen wrestling in the front row of the theater.

After establishing itself as a beloved horror game franchise for almost ten years, Five Nights at Freddy’s is now being brought to life in a Hollywood film adaptation.

The FNAF movie, featuring The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson and Hackers' Matthew Lillard, brings the popular video games to life on the big screen. The storyline revolves around a thrilling game of cat-and-mouse between haunted animatronic animal mascots and humans striving to survive the night shift. Scheduled for release in the US on October 26, the film has received a combination of positive and negative reviews from both fans and critics. However, it appears that one particular theater audience had a rather unpleasant experience.

Brawl breaks out at FNAF movie screening

At an early screening of a horror movie in Acton, London, a video capturing a brawl among theater-goers is going viral on social media. The footage depicts individuals in the front row exchanging punches while the movie's credits are displayed in the background. Remarkably, it seems that many of the participants were also recording the incident as evident from the flashlights on their phones.

The reason behind the brawl remains a mystery, according to the individual who shared the clip. However, they did confess that the majority of the spectators were expressing dissatisfaction with the film.

“Everyone in the audience was just complaining and they started fighting at the end of the movie,” they wrote on Twitter/X. “Honestly, I have no idea what happened.”

Fights during the opening weekend of major films are not uncommon. In the past, there have been instances where conflicts arose between moviegoers. During a screening of the Barbie movie, two women engaged in an altercation due to one of them not controlling their child's behavior. Similarly, The Little Mermaid screening was disrupted by a fight between two women.
