Security guard 1

At the start of the movie, Freddy Fazbear and his gang target the initial security guard at the restaurant, preceding Mike (Josh Hutcherson) taking over. The unnamed guard is portrayed desperately attempting to secure the animatronics' access to the security office by tightening screws. However, this effort proves futile, as Carl the Cupcake emerges from the vents and wreaks havoc.

When the security guard awakens, he finds himself immobilized in a chair like a scene out of the Saw franchise, while an eerie bear mask adorned with menacing blades ominously approaches him. This chilling scenario not only establishes the terrifying circumstances that Mike is desperately trying to escape from, but also offers crucial insight into the nature of the animatronics already present.

Carl

The second character who dies in Five Nights at Freddy’s is Carl, played by Joseph Poliquin.

Aunt Jane (played by Mary Stuart Masterson) proposes to the babysitter Max (Kat Conner Sterling) that they should destroy the pizzeria, hoping to get rid of Mike from his position. Carl decides to join them on this mischievous adventure.

While the group splits up and wreaks havoc in different areas, Carl suddenly becomes aware of a peculiar sound emanating from the kitchen. Unbeknownst to him, Carl the Cupcake is hiding inside the abandoned refrigerator, with Chica patiently waiting behind, ready to complete their plan.

Uncle Hank

In sheer horror, Uncle Hank (played by Christian Stokes) witnesses Chica mercilessly eliminate Carl. Understandably shaken, Hank flees in a desperate attempt to save his own life, although his escape is cut short.

Jeff

In a narrow hallway, Hank finds himself trapped and seeks refuge in a supply closet. To his surprise, Bonnie is lurking right behind him. This particular demise marks the first instance where fans are exposed to the sight of blood, as the aftermath of Hank's unfortunate death stains both the closet door and the floor.

In Five Nights at Freddy's, Jeff becomes the next victim after being approached by Aunt Jane along with his sister Max. Once he reaches the security room, Jeff witnesses Hank's demise through the surveillance screens. Furthermore, he observes Bonnie and Chica reuniting, casting an ominous gaze towards the camera as Chica sets Carl the Cupcake free in the ventilation system.

Jeff immediately runs to the vents to try and keep Carl out – but unfortunately, it’s no use.

Max

While the rest of the group succumbs to their demise indoors, Max has patiently remained outside in the car. Curiosity piqued by the length of time they've been away, she ventures inside the restaurant to investigate firsthand.

Upon entering, a young child, already recognized by viewers as a younger Freddy, approaches Max and gestures for her to venture deeper into the pizzeria. Eventually, Max reaches the storage area, where Freddy eagerly awaits. Freddy extends an invitation for Max to draw nearer, prompting her to step onto a chair and meet his gaze, directly peering into his mouth.

As she leans forward, Freddy bites down, literally snapping Max’s body in half.

Aunt Jane

Later on in the film, Aunt Jane is the next person who dies in Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Mike now agrees that Jane should take care of Abby. Jane waits in the lounge for Mike to come back from work, while Abby locks herself in her room. Unbeknownst to Jane, Freddy, or a version known as 'Golden Freddy,' has arrived to take Abby back to the pizzeria. Considering Jane as an obstruction, she is seen lying on the floor while Abby leaves the house. Freddy informs Abby that Aunt Jane has simply "fallen asleep."

Vanessa (maybe)

In the climactic battle involving Mike, Abby, and the animatronics, Vanessa bravely overcomes her fears and returns to the pizzeria to offer her assistance.

As Mike is placed in danger, she decides to confront her father, William Afton, who is also known as the Yellow Rabbit. Afton is the one responsible for the disappearance of the children and the abduction of Mike's younger brother, Garrett. In an attempt to dissuade Vanessa from interfering, Afton warns her against causing a scene. However, Vanessa reacts by shooting him in the shoulder.

Yellow Rabbit

- Vanessa is confronted by Afton, who brandishes a knife and viciously stabs her in the stomach. Left to suffer on the floor, Afton eventually meets his own grim end. However, Mike and Abby later discover Vanessa unconscious and safely escort her out. The conclusion of Five Nights at Freddy's reveals that Vanessa lingers in a coma, her future hanging precariously in the balance.

In Five Nights at Freddy's, the Yellow Rabbit, also known as William Afton, ultimately meets his demise. Previously known as Steve Raglan, he adopts this new identity and arrives at the pizzeria to manipulate the animatronics into eliminating Mike once and for all. However, Abby successfully convinces Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy about Afton's true actions through a drawing, causing them to unite against him instead.
