Brad Pitt is determined to continue fighting with his ex Angelina Jolie over their previous winery. According to a source, Brad is prepared to prolong the legal battle over Chateau Miraval for as long as necessary. He is adamant about not giving up and is motivated by a desire to get back at Angie.
Pitt, who is 60 years old, feels that a "principle was broken" during the disagreement with his estranged partner. According to an insider, he believes that there is a "truth to be told."
The vineyard holds great significance for Pitt, and he is prepared to testify in court if necessary, as per the source.
Pitt, who is deeply passionate about his winery, faced a setback on Wednesday, March 20, when a judge dismissed several of his complaints against Jolie, 48, regarding the property.
According to Jolie's attorney, Paul Murphy, the judge ruled in favor of Jolie because most of Pitt's claims lacked a legal basis. Murphy stated to Entertainment Tonight that Pitt's lawsuit was not about a business dispute, but rather an attempt to conceal serious abuse. The judge's decision to dismiss a significant portion of Pitt's complaint was seen as a positive outcome for Jolie and her legal team.
Murphy added that Jolie “truly harbors no ill will toward” her estranged husband and is hopeful for the lawsuit to come to an end.

Jolie and Pitt ended their marriage in 2016 after being together for two years. By 2019, they were officially declared single. Along with finalizing their divorce details, they also had a disagreement over who owned their winery. When Jolie decided to sell her shares of the winery in 2021, Pitt responded by taking legal steps. In June 2022, Pitt accused Jolie of selling her stake in an attempt to hurt him during their divorce proceedings.
Pitt and Jolie bought the château to live with their children and the vineyard as a family business. They agreed not to sell their shares in Miraval without each other's permission. The couple celebrated holidays and got married at Miraval in 2014.
The couple has six children: Maddox (22), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (17), and twins Knox and Vivienne (both 15). Jolie and Pitt are currently in a custody battle over their minor children.
A second source told Us earlier this month that Jolie is likely to retain primary custody of minors Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne while Pitt currently has visitation rights.

Brad Pitt's unwavering determination to prolong the legal battle over Chateau Miraval reflects his deep emotional attachment to the property and his desire for retribution against Angelina Jolie. The winery holds immense sentimental value for Pitt, evoking memories of their family life and their 2014 wedding. His refusal to surrender stems from a perceived betrayal and a desire to right a perceived wrong.
The ongoing custody battle between Jolie and Pitt underscores the complexities of their relationship. While Jolie wishes to move on and hopes for an end to the lawsuit, Pitt remains resolute in his pursuit of vindication. The dismissal of several of his complaints by a judge is a setback but has not dampened his resolve. The legal proceedings promise to be protracted and emotionally draining, further straining the once-close bond between these former lovers.
