In chapter 5 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the protagonist's backstory with his master, Sasuke Uchiha, was revealed. The manga unveiled how Sasuke successfully imparted all his knowledge to his student within a year. Despite the protagonist's astonishment, it was evident that Sasuke was completely serious and not joking.
Right after that, Sasuke praised his student, calling him a genius. According to him, the protagonist was not just a quick learner but also had great determination in his eyes, similar to Naruto Uzumaki.

From the start of the story, it was apparent that Naruto's son was destined to surpass his father. Naruto struggled with creating a Rasengan and applying his Chakra style to jutsu without a clone, but Boruto, on the other hand, mastered three Chakra styles and even inadvertently applied them to his Rasengan, creating the Vanishing Rasengan.
As the story progressed, the protagonist continued to improve, clearly coming into his own. This was particularly evident in how Naruto's son surpassed him in other aspects as well.

Just like his father, Naruto's son has also developed his own unique Jutsu inspired by the Rasengan. A comparison between Wind Style: Rasenshuriken and Rasengan: Uzuhiko clearly shows that Rasengan: Uzuhiko is the more intricate and powerful of the two techniques. Its effects are truly overwhelming.
Naruto possessed Kurama, enabling him to draw chakra and access the Tailed Beast Mode. In contrast, Boruto carried data from Momoshiki Otsutsuki, granting him the ability to transform into an Otsutsuki. Unlike Naruto, who could only tap into the Tailed Beast's chakra while remaining human.
The protagonist's karma enables them to transform into a celestial being, underscoring their significance within the franchise's lore.
Additionally, the chapter unveils Sasuke's selfless act of sacrificing himself for Boruto. Prior to his sacrifice, he is depicted requesting the protagonist to look after his daughter, Sarada.
Sasuke's previous request for Naruto to prioritize Sakura's safety during the Chunin exams' battle against Gaara demonstrates his trust in Boruto, just as he trusted Naruto. This makes it evident that the protagonist has inherited Naruto's legacy.

This demonstrates Boruto's exceptional talent and potential, and it's exciting to see how he will continue to grow and develop in the future.
