Boruto Theory Reveals the True Identities of the New Akatsuki

Boruto manga unveils shocking revelations in chapter 4, introducing a formidable new villainous group This theory delves into the mysterious identities of two unconfirmed Divine Trees, raising anticipation for future developments

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 4 revealed several major plot points, with the emergence of a new antagonist group being the most significant. Similar to the Naruto manga, where Akatsuki became prominently featured after a time skip, creator Masashi Kishimoto has taken a similar approach in the Boruto series. While the new group has not been named, they bear resemblance to the infamous Akatsuki. Although not all members have been identified, a fan theory has surfaced providing some possible insights.

The most recent chapter of the manga confirms that Bug and Sasuke are two of the four new Akatsuki members who were transformed from Divine Trees. However, the identities of the other two Divine Trees have not yet been revealed.

As for the female Divine Tree, there have been numerous theories suggesting that it could actually be Moegi Kazamatsuri - the leader of Team 10. The latest chapter provided evidence that the Divine Trees are able to inherit the original person's abilities, which strongly indicates that the Female Divine Tree is indeed Moegi, especially since she displayed the use of Earth Release: Gravel, a technique previously used by Moegi on Amado. In this case, the Divine Tree used it on Boruto.

The resemblance of the Divine Tree to Meogi's head shape was striking, looking like her hair. If Moegi were to transform into a Divine Tree, it could create an intriguing storyline for Team 10, mirroring the fate of the original Team 10 in Naruto Shippuden when Asuma Sarutobi died at the hands of Hidan. Given Kishimoto's tendency to draw inspiration from his previous work, fans may anticipate this development. All that is left is for the manga to confirm the theory in the future, perhaps with the Hidden Leaf Shinobi discovering Moegi's Divine Tree.

Delta is the only other potential candidate for the female Divine Tree, but the theory is complicated by the fact that she is a cyborg rather than a human. However, the manga could potentially adapt the storyline to accommodate this possibility.

The male leader of the Divine Tree, Soegi and Jigen, are the two possible candidates. After the release of the second chapter of the manga, fans initially believed Soegi was just a random character created by Masashi Kishimoto to help Sarada understand Claw Grimes. However, the fact that Soegi has a similar mohawk hairstyle to the male Claw Grime raises the possibility that he may actually be the leader of the Divine Trees. This development would also provide an interesting and tense dynamic for Sarada, as she may have to confront the Divine Tree of the person who previously rescued her. Nevertheless, the idea of Soegi being a major antagonist doesn't seem to fit quite right.

As a result, Jigen remains the only other potential candidate. Some fans might find this unlikely, given that Jigen is believed to have perished. Nevertheless, the Divine Tree's inner thoughts in the most recent chapter might suggest a connection to Jigen's possible transformation into the Divine Tree.

The Divine Tree expressed their aim to absorb the chakra of all Earth's inhabitants in order to produce a chakra fruit. This suggests the Ten-Tails may have targeted Jigen's chakra on Earth to give rise to the Divine Tree as a leader.

As fans are aware, Jigen regularly visited the Ten-Tails to transform himself into a stable vessel for Isshiki Otsutsuki. This suggests that the Ten-Tails may have seen Jigen as a suitable host and turned him into a Divine Tree. The fact that the Jigen Divine Tree descended from the sky could also indicate that his original self had perished, and the Divine Tree form was providing him with a new lease on life.

If the unconfirmed new members of the Akatsuki are later revealed to be any of these characters, Boruto and his allies may need to strategize extensively to defeat them. To make matters worse, additional Divine Trees could potentially join their ranks in the future.

Editor's P/S

As a Boruto fan, I'm thrilled about the introduction of this new Akatsuki group and the mysteries surrounding their identities. The theory presented in this article offers intriguing possibilities for the true identities of the remaining Divine Trees. The idea that Moegi Kazamatsuri could be the female Divine Tree would add depth to her character and create compelling parallels with the original Team 10's storyline.

The potential transformation of Jigen into the male Divine Tree leader also raises intriguing questions about his fate and motivations. Exploring the connections between the Divine Trees and the Ten-Tails could shed more light on the overall mythology of the Boruto universe. Overall, I'm excited to see how Kishimoto develops these new villains and unravels the secrets behind their origins and objectives.
