Boost Your Productivity with Windows 11's Notification Control

Windows 11 is taking control of app notifications to give you a more peaceful experience With new reminders to use notification controls, you can easily disable or enable notifications from any app Say goodbye to annoying push notifications with Windows 11

Windows offers users a range of controls to enable or disable app notifications, as push notifications can become a nuisance when overused. With the upcoming release of Windows 11, the operating system will prompt users to utilize these controls. Notification suggestions is a new feature that will ask users if they would like to turn off notifications for an app if they have not interacted with them for some time, indicating disinterest. This setting will only disable the toast notification from popping up on the screen, but it will not prevent notifications from appearing in the notification center. This is particularly useful for apps that repeatedly send notifications unnecessarily, causing visual distractions for users. While it would be more beneficial to allow users to disable notifications entirely, this feature ensures that notifications will not be an annoyance for users who choose to keep them on.

This feature is rolling out to some PCs in the Windows Insider program right now, and if there are no significant problems, it could roll out to everyone on Windows 11 within the next few months.
