Billy Baldwin responded to Sharon Stone's recent comments about their working relationship on the set of the 1993 film Sliver. In a tirade on Tuesday, March 12, Baldwin, who is 61 years old, questioned why Stone continues to talk about him after all these years. He jokingly asked if she still has a crush on him or if she is still upset because he rejected her advances.

Stone recently shared on “The Louis Theroux Podcast” that producer Robert Evans pressured her to sleep with Baldwin to enhance his performance in the film "Sliver." According to Stone, Evans claimed that if she slept with Baldwin, his performance would improve, as they needed him to do better in the movie. Stone recounted that Evans, wearing sunglasses, even mentioned his own past encounters with Ava Gardner to persuade her.

In the steamy thriller, Stone and Baldwin portrayed neighbors who eventually become romantically involved. The story revolves around Carly Norris, a book editor, who moves into a luxurious apartment and discovers that she looks remarkably similar to the previous tenant who tragically died by falling from the balcony.

While slamming Stone’s allegations in his X post, Baldwin made several claims of his own about his time on the film.

He alleged that the day after the screen test, he overheard her telling Janice Dickinson on their flight back to New York that she planned to make him fall hard for her, making his head spin. He also mentioned having a lot of information about her that could shock her, but he chose to stay silent.

Baldwin also shared a photo from the movie Sliver, stating that he came up with the idea for the positions in his and Stone's final sex scene.

He wrote about the legendary meeting he had with Bob Evans, where he asked to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo to avoid kissing Sharon. He also pondered on whether he should write a book revealing the many disturbing, kinky, and unprofessional tales about Sharon. Perhaps that would be a fun idea.

In her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, Stone previously shared the story of her alleged conversation with Roberts, who passed away at the age of 89 in 2019. At that time, she did not mention Roberts or Baldwin by their names.

She wrote about how you guys insisted on casting this actor, even though he couldn't even get through a single scene during the test. Now you expect that if she sleeps with him, he will magically become a talented actor? She expressed her disbelief, stating that nobody is that good in bed. She believed they should have just hired a co-star with real talent, someone who could deliver lines and scenes effectively.

In her memoir, Stone also mentioned that Baldwin made a few clumsy advances towards her after her conversation with Roberts. She suspected that these advances were likely encouraged by the producer.
