Taylor Hale and Joseph Abdin from Big Brother show that maintaining a positive relationship with an ex is possible. On August 2, Hale, 28, posted a picture on Twitter of 26-year-old Abdin kissing her on the cheek at a Big Brother premiere party in New York City, captioning it with "It's forever".
Fans wasted no time in expressing their joy in the comments section, with one social media user writing, "Taylor, tonight has been challenging, and you shouldn't toy with people like this."
Although some fans were hoping for a romantic reconciliation, another follower emphasized the enduring bond of friendship between Hale and Abdin by stating, "She's affirming that their friendship will last forever."
Abdin and Hale sparked speculation of a romance in July 2022 while competing on season 24 of Big Brother. The pair remained secretive about their relationship status for several months until it was confirmed in November 2022 that they were officially dating.
“The love Joseph has for me is unlike any relationship I have experienced before,” Hale exclusively shared with Us three months later, on the occasion of their anniversary. “Getting to know his family and sharing our lives together has only strengthened my belief that I am with the person I am meant to be with. Every moment with Joseph brings me joy and happiness. He has my heart forever.”
Abdin expressed his deep admiration for the depth of their connection, remarking, "I am incredibly grateful to have her by my side. It feels like just yesterday when I asked her to be mine."
Following less than a year of being together, the couple officially declared their separation through a joint statement.

“Joseph and I have chosen to continue our bond as best friends, offering each other love and support,” Hale stated on Instagram in April. “We understand that this is the best path for both of our futures. Our decision was made with deep affection, compassion, and an acknowledgment of the unique significance our relationship holds for us.”
She added, “We sincerely appreciate the love and support you have shown us throughout our journey, as we transitioned from friends to romantic partners and now back to friends. We have seen every message expressing how impactful it has been for you to witness an interracial relationship develop, despite the ongoing challenges. It warms our hearts to know that our love has served as an inspiration to you.”
Hale ended the message by assuring Abdin that she would continue to be there for him as a friend.
"Joseph and I will continue to support each other wholeheartedly, and we hope that you will do the same, as you always have," she emphasized. "There is no animosity between us! We will always be connected. Whether as friends or in a romantic sense, we are, and always will be, Jaylor."
