Big Brother Bombshell: The Shocking Reason Jared Kept Mom Cirie in the Dark About Blue's Secret

Big Brother's Jared Fields refuses to divulge the secret to his mom, Cirie Fields, that his showmance partner, Blue Kim, is aware of their familial connection Big Brother fans eagerly await the reasoning behind Jared's decision in this intriguing article Subscribe now!

Jared Fields from Big Brother 25 stands by his decision not to inform his mother, Cirie Fields, that his showmance partner, Blue Kim, is aware of their family connection.

"I'm confident in my choice because I know my mom would have become extremely suspicious and changed her behavior towards Blue," he told We exclusively on Friday, September 29, the day after he was eliminated from the CBS reality show. "I really wanted them to form their own bond without the burden of thinking, 'Oh, she probably knows about our connection and might use it against me in the future.'"

He continued, "I wanted her to have the opportunity to trust Blue as much as possible because I truly believe deep down that Blue will ensure her safety. I didn't want to influence her with any preconceived ideas, like thinking of making a move against the only person who might be willing to assist her."

Cirie, a 53-year-old reality TV icon known for her appearances on Survivor and The Traitors, was unveiled as the 17th houseguest on the season 25 premiere of Big Brother last month. Izzy Gleicher was the only houseguest who immediately recognized that Jared is Cirie's son, and the three of them quickly formed an alliance. Following her eviction earlier this month, 32-year-old Izzy expressed her disdain for Jared sharing their sensitive information with Blue, describing it as "stupid." Despite Izzy's criticism, Jared believes that Cirie will understand his reasoning behind sharing their secret with Blue and not informing Cirie about Blue's knowledge.

“She’ll definitely understand. We have always discussed the importance of me taking complete ownership of my decisions and actions. I fully accepted responsibility for everything I did,” he stated. “It was crucial for me to carve my own path and make my own strategic moves in this unconventional world of reality TV, which she is undoubtedly familiar with. However, this was a completely new experience for me. I didn't want to blindly follow her lead and then leave feeling like I had no agency. … My intention was to assert my independence and make my own calculated moves in this game, which I truly believe will ultimately benefit her.”

While Jared believes that his decision will benefit Cirie in the game, he acknowledged the difficulty in determining whether their presence in the house was ultimately more advantageous or detrimental to their individual gameplay.

“It's tough to say, really. One thing that is lacking in this house is having someone who is completely loyal to you, and I had that with my mom,” he explained. “However, it became quite complicated because early on, we found ourselves on opposing sides of the house. So, it was a constant battle for me to ensure that whoever prevailed on my side wouldn't be targeting her.”

Jared stated that his alliance with Izzy made his game more complicated. He promised Izzy that if she kept his secret, he would never go against her in the game and would protect her until the end. He believed that this promise was a factor in his downfall. Jared's elimination on September 28 came after he had the opportunity to revive his game through the "Big Brother Zombies" twist. He and Cameron Harding were both evicted during last week's Double Eviction but immediately returned to the house as Zombies.

Throughout the previous week, Jared and 34-year-old Cameron engaged in a three-part competition. Emerging as the ultimate victor, Cameron earned an opportunity to undertake a challenge in Thursday's episode, wherein he triumphed and successfully secured his reentry into the game. Consequently, Jared was officially eliminated.

Jared mentioned that having a second life in the game provided him with a sense of closure. He also expressed that he holds no resentment towards Cameron's victory. Jared acknowledged Cameron's accomplishment and acknowledged his own competitiveness by stating that he is not an easy person to defeat. He believes that Cameron truly deserves the win.
