President Joe Biden described Donald Trump as "clearly unhinged" and suggested that something changed in him after losing the 2020 election.
Speaking at a private fundraiser in Seattle, Biden expressed his belief that Trump became fixated on his defeat in 2020 and has since displayed erratic behavior. Biden urged people to pay attention to the messages Trump is spreading.
Biden believes the GOP presidential nominee is "unhinged," but he still thinks the November election will be tight.
"We are confident about where we stand in the race, but we also recognize that it will be a close competition," Biden mentioned, referring to recent polls.
According to a recent CNN poll conducted by SSRS, Trump still leads over Biden. In a head-to-head matchup, Trump's support among registered voters remained at 49%, while Biden's stood at 43%. This is similar to the results of CNN's previous poll in January.
While Trump has been busy in a Manhattan courtroom for his hush money trial, Biden has been actively engaging in policy speeches and campaign events. He has been finding ways to challenge and provoke the former president.
Last month, Biden joked with a crowd of builders about the time when Trump suggested injecting bleach to deal with Covid. "He missed and it all went to his hair," Biden quipped.
The fundraiser in Washington state on Saturday took place at the home of former Microsoft executive Jon Shirley, who introduced the president.
As Biden was concluding his remarks, he told donors, “I’ll try my best not to disappoint you.”

Editor's P/S:
President Biden's comments on Trump's erratic behavior raise concerns about the potential impact on the upcoming election. While Biden remains confident in his position, he acknowledges the closeness of the race, with recent polls indicating Trump still holds a slight lead. Biden's efforts to challenge and provoke Trump, such as his joke about injecting bleach, reflect his strategy to highlight the former president's questionable actions.
It is crucial to note that the CNN poll mentioned in the article is based on registered voters rather than likely voters, which may not accurately reflect the actual outcome of the election. Additionally, the poll was conducted before Trump's recent acquittal in his hush money trial, which could potentially boost his support among certain voters. As the election draws near, it remains to be seen how these factors will influence the race and whether Biden's concerns about Trump's behavior will materialize in the form of an electoral defeat.
