Bella Hadid stepped back onto the red carpet at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival after taking a break from attending events and premieres for over a year.

The 27-year-old looked gorgeous in a nude, form-fitting Saint Laurent midi dress that highlighted her amazing figure. She attended the premiere for The Apprentice at the prestigious film festival in France on Monday, May 20.

The supermodel wore a dress with a ruched bodice, sheer halter top, and skirt. She paired it with gold Mary Jane heels and chunky earrings and rings. Her hair was styled in retro glam waves over one shoulder. She completed her look with sultry eye makeup and a dark nude lip.

Fans loved the look of the Ôrəbella fragrance founder, which she shared on Instagram.

After taking a break from her modeling career to pursue other interests and undergo treatment for Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with at the age of 16 in 2012, Hadid made a stunning appearance at Cannes.

Lyme disease is a sickness caused by borrelia bacteria, which is spread to humans through the bite of a tick carrying the bacteria. Symptoms include rash, fever, extreme fatigue, joint stiffness, and muscle pain.

In August 2023, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about her challenging treatment, expressing how living in a state of decline while striving to make herself, her family, and her supporters proud had taken a toll on her in ways she couldn't fully describe.

She continued, “Being so sad and sick despite having so many blessings and love around me was incredibly confusing. I want to reassure you all that 1: I am okay and there’s no need to worry, and 2: I wouldn’t change a thing. If I had to go through it all again to be where I am now, surrounded by all of you and finally healthy, I would do it all over. It shaped me into who I am today.”

While discussing her Ôrəbella fragrance line in April, Hadid shared more with Allure about why she decided to step back from the fashion industry.

She said she noticed she was investing a lot of energy, love, and effort into something that wasn't reciprocating the same to her in the end.
