Bad Bunny's Hilarious SNL Promo Holds a Hidden Nod to Kendall Jenner's Mosquito Video

Bad Bunny's teaser for Saturday Night Live could potentially hint at his relationship with Kendall Jenner. SNL shared the promotional clips of the 29-year-old rapper on October 19, as he geared up to fulfill the roles of host and musical guest, alongside cast member Heidi Gardner.

Gardner, 40, initiated the conversation with Bad Bunny, "I've been meaning to ask you," but was momentarily diverted by a mosquito that was buzzing around the studio. "Oh, my God, what is that?"

Responding swiftly, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, sprang into action. "Watch out, Heidi, it's a mosquito," he joked, catching the fly in his hands.

The video ended with a disconcerted Gardner, gazing nostalgically at Bad Bunny after he eradicated the insects from his palms.

The official SNL account playfully warned, "be careful," in the teaser caption — which prompted fans to swiftly speculate on its resemblance to a video he had previously shared with Jenner, 27.

Back in August, Bad Bunny took his Instagram Story to show off a wildlife visit. “Mami, be careful,” he quipped as the camera focused on a wild chipmunk.

Kendall Jenner was captured off-camera, and viewers instantly assumed it was her, inquiring anxiously about the possibility of the chipmunk carrying rabies. In response, Bad Bunny assured, "No, it's the mosquitoes."

Bad Bunny fans flocked to the comments section of SNL's TikTok on Thursday, analyzing the striking similarities between the two videos. Among the comments was one fan pointing out, "He missed the 'mamiii,'" while another suggested, "The writers deserve a pay raise." Responding to these remarks, a third social media user humorously noted, "Mama Kris [Jenner] really came through for him lol."

Bad Bunny and the supermodel have been romantically linked since February after they were seen showing affection during a date night.

According to an exclusive source in August, Kendall has been developing a closer bond with Bad Bunny over the past few months. Initially, their relationship was more casual, but after a while, Kendall recognized the possibility of a long-term connection between them.
