Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner have ended their relationship after less than a year of dating, according to reports from People and Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, December 17. Neither Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio), 29, nor the 28-year-old model have publicly addressed the split.

The rapper was first seen with Jenner in February during a date in Beverly Hills, but their relationship remained mostly private. They both went to the 2023 Met Gala in May, walking the red carpet separately before reuniting at an afterparty later that evening.

The next month, Bad Bunny opened up about his decision to keep the romance low-key. "I know something will be leaked," he told Rolling Stone. "I know [people will] have something to say. People know everything about me, so what do I have left to protect? My private life, my personal life."

He declined to comment on his relationship with Jenner, stating "My privacy is all I have." A source had revealed a month earlier that Jenner saw "long-term potential" with Bad Bunny, feeling that he was a complete package and treated her with utmost respect.

Jenner was highly drawn to Bad Bunny's confidence, as per the source. "They're having a great time together and she appreciates that he connects well with all of her friends," the insider stated. "They complement each other on multiple levels, and she's enjoying the process of getting to know him better every day."

Another source revealed to Us in August that the pair’s bond has become even stronger since the early days of their romance. "Kendall has been forming a much closer connection with Bad Bunny over the past few months," the source disclosed. "Things were more laid-back when they first started dating, but after a short period, she saw long-term potential in their relationship."

The couple teamed up in September when they were both selected by Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno to be the faces of his first Gucci Valigeria campaign. They were spotted together in the front row of the Gucci fashion show in Milan later that month.

Weeks later, Jenner traveled to New York City to support her boyfriend as he pulled double duty on Saturday Night Live. The SNL afterparty was their last public outing.

Before dating Bad Bunny, Jenner had an on-and-off relationship with Devin Booker for almost two years. Their split was confirmed by Us in November 2022. Bad Bunny appears to have referenced the Phoenix Suns player, 27, in March with the translated lyrics of his song "Coco Chanel," which say "But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix / She knows it."
