Arteta, the manager of Arsenal football club, has revealed that he still feels a sense of disappointment over his team's failure to win the Premier League title last season. Despite this, he believes that there were numerous positive aspects to take away from their performance during the campaign.

Speaking to Marca in an interview, the 41-year-old Spaniard expressed his lingering frustration, stating, "Even now, it pains me greatly that we were unable to secure the Premier League trophy after battling with City for 10 months."

However, that is part of the nature of the sport. Nevertheless, the accomplishments of this young team are commendable, as it is evident to me as well.

Arteta, who assumed his role as the manager at the Emirates Stadium in December 2019, added: "This process began more than three years ago. I served as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City, and when we faced Arsenal, I observed that the club had lost its essence."

"There was no enjoyment, no feeling. I was aware that there could be an opportunity to be on the opposing side sooner or later. Understanding the immense magnitude of this club, it was crucial to establish a strong bond between the team and the supporters. Accomplishing this has been a challenging task, but now I am filled with happiness.

We have established a distinct identity, fostering unity and radiating a vibrant energy. This, undoubtedly, is our most significant achievement. From the highest ranks to the lowest, everyone is unified and pushing together in harmony."
