Arsenal delivered an impressive performance at LA's SoFi Stadium, with Kai Havertz scoring yet again in their thrilling 5-3 pre-season victory over Barcelona.

After the break, the flurry of goals persisted, albeit in a more uneven manner. Leandro Trossard contributed to the scoreboard by elegantly tucking the ball into the bottom corner, granting the Gunners their first lead.

Barca came close to prolonging the exhilarating scoring spree, but Ousmane Dembele's attempt was thwarted by the near post's deflection off Ramsdale's foot.

Xavi's team played their inaugural pre-season match following the cancellation of their previous game against Juventus due to sickness. The Barcelona manager engaged in a confrontation with his former midfield partner at Camp Nou, Arteta, during the game. Xavi later provided an explanation on the sideline regarding the incident.

Xavi commented that he had informed Arteta about the game resembling a Champions League match. He noted that the level of intensity displayed by the opposition was somewhat unusual.
