According to reports in Germany, the 23-year-old German international will be joining Arsenal in a deal worth £65m. It has been confirmed that he has signed a five-year contract with the club, making Emirates Stadium his new home.

Chelsea are reportedly pleased with the agreement since Havertz expressed his desire to depart from Stamford Bridge. This marks the conclusion of Havertz's three-year tenure at Chelsea, during which he solidified his position in the club's history by scoring the decisive goal that secured their second Champions League title in 2021.

Chelsea signed Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 for £75m, however, due to a lackluster performance at Stamford Bridge, the club was seeking to regain a significant portion of their initial investment.

Positive talks continue for Rice, Timber

Arsenal is in ongoing discussions with West Ham United regarding the acquisition of Rice and is actively strategizing their next steps.

Despite making two offers, Arsenal's latest bid, a staggering £90m, was turned down.

The Hammers are believed to be seeking a minimum of £100m for the English midfielder, while anticipating an enhanced offer from the Gunners. Although Manchester City has shown interest in Rice, they have not yet submitted an official bid.

According to a source, We News has been informed that the 24-year-old's top choice is still Arsenal, and it is believed that negotiating personal terms will not pose an issue.

Simultaneously, Arsenal is currently engaged in discussions with Ajax regarding the acquisition of defender Timber.

All parties are eager to reach an agreement due to the player's desire to move to north London. Negotiations between the two clubs primarily focus on the deal's valuation and payment structure. Currently, there is still a significant difference in the valuation of the Dutch defender.
