Arsenal's latest home shirt has been temporarily withdrawn from sale due to a "design error" that needs to be rectified by kit manufacturer Adidas. The authentic jersey, which retails at £110, is currently unavailable for purchase and Adidas has assured fans who had already bought the 2023/24 edition that they will receive a refund.
The shirt honours Arsenal's 'Invincibles' season 20 years on from when Arsene Wenger's side went unbeaten throughout an entire Premier League campaign.

It is an embarrassing gaffe by adidas
The design showcases the results of the 38 matches with a row of W's and D's, highlighting the wins and draws from the season. However, the official matchday shirt, which was originally adorned with 32 of these results, has now been taken off the market.

The shirts will now become collector's items
"The 2023-24 Arsenal home authentic jerseys are temporarily unavailable while a design error is being corrected," Adidas said in a statement.
We are in close collaboration with the club and our partners to promptly replenish the stock of jerseys. Additionally, we are providing full refunds to fans who have already made a purchase.

We deeply regret this design flaw, as it does not meet the high standards we uphold as a brand. We sincerely apologize to the club and its loyal supporters.
However, it is important to note that the replica 'fan' edition of the home jersey remains unaffected by this issue and is currently readily accessible to all.
The 'fan' shirt is the same design but a cheaper option for supporters, retailing at £80 through Arsenal's official club shop.
