Ark: Survival Ascended is set to make its debut on the Xbox Series X|S today, November 21, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, with official servers expected to go live a few hours after the release, according to Studio Wildcard. The developer also announced a delay for the PS5 edition of the game due to encountered issues, but assured fans that they are working closely with Sony to resolve them and ensure a successful launch on the PlayStation 5.
The game is scheduled for release on PS5 in early December, with a last-minute delay on Xbox due to the certification process. Critical issues in October pushed back the console release date, but it unexpectedly launched on PC in October for $40.50 on Steam Early Access.
In addition to the remake, Studio Wildcard is also working on another major project, planning to release Ark 2 in 2024, which will feature Fast X star Vin Diesel. Similar to Ark: Survival Ascended, the sequel will also be using Unreal Engine 5.
Editor's P/S
Ark: Survival Ascended has finally arrived on Xbox, and I couldn't be more excited. I've been a fan of the game since it first came out on PC, and I've been eagerly awaiting its release on Xbox. The game is a thrilling dinosaur adventure that will keep you entertained for hours on end. There are so many different things to do in the game, from building your own base to taming dinosaurs. I can't wait to see what new adventures await me in Ark: Survival Ascended on Xbox.
The delay of the PS5 version of the game is disappointing, but I understand that the developers want to make sure that the game is as polished as possible when it releases. I'm confident that the wait will be worth it, and I'm looking forward to playing Ark: Survival Ascended on PS5 when it finally comes out. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying the game on Xbox.
