Ariana Madix Purchases New Home in Los Angeles, Transitioning from Former Residence with Tom Sandoval

Ariana Madix has made a significant move by purchasing a new home in Los Angeles, marking her departure from the shared living arrangement with her ex, Tom Sandoval. This change signifies a new chapter in Ariana's life as she embarks on a fresh living space and journey.

Ariana Madix, star of Vanderpump Rules, has recently moved out of the house she shared with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval. It has been more than a year since she found out about his cheating scandal.

According to Page Six, the 38-year-old actress purchased a $1.6 million mid-century modern home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 19. The new house is located 6.6 miles away from her previous residence with Sandoval, who is 40 years old.

The three-bedroom two-bathroom home, built in 1962, underwent recent renovations. The main level features an open floor plan connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen. On the second level, there is a primary bedroom with views of the outdoors.

Madix's reported move has been anticipated for a while. In 2019, Madix and Sandoval bought their home in the Valley Village neighborhood of Los Angeles for $2 million. They lived in the house for almost four years before separating due to Sandoval's involvement with their Vanderpump Rules costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

After Madix and Sandoval split up, they continued to live together as roommates and used a mediator to communicate.

In January, Madix took legal action against Sandoval to sell their shared home. According to court papers from We, she stated that there is a disagreement between her and Sandoval.

Madix claimed that the ongoing tension is negatively impacting her ownership of the house and her enjoyment of her interest in the property.

She requested the judge to divide the property through a sale. In the legal document, Madix specified that she is seeking a fair distribution of the sale proceeds, which should cover the payment of debts secured by the property and the expenses related to the partitioning process.

She mentioned that she is against having a "division in kind," where one person keeps the property while the other sells their share. Madix believed that this type of division cannot be legally done in this situation.

In the following month, Sandoval replied to Madix's submission and argued that she did not provide enough details to support her case. According to court papers from Us, Sandoval stated that the partition of the home should not be approved.

The docs also mentioned that Madix did not handle her lawsuit in a reasonable and good faith manner. They stated that she did not try to lessen any damages she may have suffered according to her own documents. If the partition is approved, Sandoval asked to be compensated for any repairs and improvements he made that increased the value of the property.

After Madix joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars season 32 in September 2023, she mentioned during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she would be staying in an Airbnb while training for the reality series.

"I'm currently dealing with the situation regarding the ownership of the house. We both own it equally," she explained. "I am interested in selling it, but he is not on board."

Madix has been residing in New York City since January, where she is playing the role of Roxie Hart in Broadway's Chicago. Her run will continue until April 7.
