Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater: Their Inner Circles Urging Them to Pace the Relationship

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater's close confidants urge caution, advising them to proceed with caution and refrain from making any public appearances together, suggesting a slower pace for their blossoming relationship

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are still in a relationship, but they won't be making any public appearances together for now. According to an insider, Grande has been advised to take things slower and not rush into going public with him. She is conscious of how her actions are perceived by her fans and is trying to handle the situation maturely. However, if it were solely up to her, she would be seen with him immediately.

Grande and her husband, Dalton Gomez, divorced in January after almost two years of being married. According to a source, Slater, aged 31, and his wife Lilly Jay were already separated before he started dating Grande.

Although some sources claim that there was no overlap between the relationships, the initial insider states that Grande and Slater were advised by their close circles to "show respect" due to the involvement of a family. Slater and Jay, aged 31, became parents to a son in August 2022.

According to an insider, there is increasing tension occurring privately, despite their public claims of stepping back. This follows the confirmation from Us last month that Slater initiated divorce proceedings against Jay on July 26. The specific reason for their separation was not disclosed in the official documents.

The following day, Jay harshly criticized Grande, accusing her of not being supportive of other women during an interview with Page Six. On July 27, Jay expressed, "Ariana is the center of attention, while my family is merely caught in the crossfire. The focus is solely on her and Dalton."

Grande and Gomez, both 27, got married in May 2021 after dating for a little over a year. A recent insider revealed that Gomez still believes there's a chance for them to reconcile.

"Even though Ethan is now Ariana's partner, Dalton hasn't completely given up on the idea of reconciling with her," the source shared. "While he wants to respect Ariana's need for space, he's also been making efforts to stay connected with her."

According to an insider, Gomez is still trying to accept the breakup and it appears that their relationship was genuine. The source shared that Gomez's friends have been attempting to introduce him to new people, but he is still hopeful for a reunion with Ariana.
