Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater had a great time at CinemaCon 2024. They were seen enjoying a meal at Nobu Caesars Palace on Wednesday, April 10, getting cozy. The couple was in Las Vegas for the film conference to promote their new movie musical, Wicked.

In a video shared by TMZ on Thursday, April 12, Grande, 30, was spotted wearing the same pink flower petal dress she wore during the film’s CinemaCon panel. She was sitting next to Slater, 31, at a restaurant. Slater had his arm placed behind Grande’s chair, and the pop star leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.

Grande, along with Slater and their fellow Wicked costars Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum, as well as director Jon M. Chu, attended CinemaCon on Wednesday. Attendees at the event were treated to a special sneak peek of the movie.

Grande and Erivo both expressed their deep commitment to honoring the women they portrayed, pouring their hearts and souls into their performances. Erivo, at 37, expressed gratitude for the journey they shared together.

Grande posted a slideshow of photos from the event on Instagram, featuring Slater in one of the images taking a mirror selfie. Goldblum, aged 71, also shared the same selfie on his own Instagram, captioning it with, "Over the rainbow to be reunited with this magical family! ‍️🩷."

Grande and Slater first met while working on the set of Wicked, where Grande played Glinda the Good Witch and Slater portrayed Boq. In July 2023, news surfaced that Grande had split from her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, around the same time Slater filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Lilly Jay.

Grande and Gomez, 28, finalized their divorce in October 2023, while Slater and Jay’s divorce and custody agreements are still in mediation. (The pair share a son.)

According to a source who spoke exclusively to We in January, things have been getting more serious between Ariana and Ethan in recent months. They are practically inseparable. Ariana has strong feelings for Ethan and envisions a future with him. She is excited for a fresh start in the new year and is eager to see how their relationship continues to blossom.

Grande's new album, Eternal Sunshine, which was released on March 8, seems to have been inspired by her new romance and split from Gomez. According to a source, the songs in the album provide insight into Ariana's side of the story regarding Dalton and Ethan.

In the lead single, "Yes, And?," Grande appears to respond to critics of her relationship with Slater. In the bridge of the song, she sings, "Don’t comment on my body, do not reply / Your business is yours and mine is mine / Why do you care so much whose — I ride?"
