Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez had disagreements regarding their prenuptial agreement but eventually came to an agreement on their divorce settlement, as stated in court documents obtained by We on Tuesday, October 10th. The 30-year-old Grande and 28-year-old Gomez were able to find a compromise to resolve their differences.
The specifics of the disagreement between the exes were not detailed in the documentation. However, Grande agreed to provide Gomez with a tax-free sum of $1,250,000 and half of the net proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles residence. Additionally, the singer will cover the attorney's fees of Gomez, up to $25,000. According to their prenuptial agreement, no spousal support will be provided.
Grande will maintain possession of her personal items such as her cars, jewelry, and a Yoshitomo Nara painting. On the other hand, Gomez will retain ownership of his own belongings including his separate Nara painting. The couple will divide their home furnishings equally.
The prenuptial agreement prohibits both Grande and Gomez from publicly sharing any photos or videos from their relationship. Additionally, they are restricted from giving interviews or writing any books or articles about their marriage. In September, Grande officially filed for divorce from Gomez, stating February 20 as their date of separation. Us had previously confirmed in July that the singer and Gomez had ended their marriage after experiencing difficulties.
"Ariana and Dalton have been facing ongoing difficulties for several months," disclosed an insider to Us at the moment of inquiry. "Prior to her departure for Wicked filming in London, they were already grappling with unresolved challenges, and the physical separation only exacerbated the situation. Communication between them has ceased."
In the same month, Dalton Gomez and Ariana Grande began a relationship. Grande had previously been involved with her Wicked costar Ethan Slater, who had recently separated from his wife, Lilly Jay. Once news of Grande's new romance with Slater came out, he promptly filed for divorce from Jay. Slater, 31, and Jay had married in 2018 and have a son together, born in 2022.
Grande and Slater began dating when both of them were already separated from their spouses. They were conscious of being respectful about their new relationship. However, due to the backlash they received, Grande was advised to be more discreet regarding their romance. An insider disclosed that she had been told to take things slower and not to go public with Slater just yet. Despite this advice, Grande expressed her desire to be seen with him sooner rather than later.
Despite being out of the public eye, the pop star and Slater have not let that hinder their progress in their relationship. Informing his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife (Lilly Jay), Ethan let them know that he is now living with Ariana full-time in New York, according to a reliable source.
