Recap of Jujutsu Kaisen episode 41
The anime depiction of Mahoraga (Image via MAPPA) was featured in Jujutsu Kaisen episode 41, titled Thunderclap, Part 2. In this episode, Megumi Fushiguro summoned Mahoraga to ensnare Haruta Shigemo for combat. Consequently, Sukuna confronted Mahoraga to shield Megumi from perilous consequences.
During the battle, Sukuna discovered Mahoraga's remarkable ability to adapt and countered the shikigami's tactics using his Domain Expansion. This led to Sukuna's victory over Mahoraga, but tragically resulted in the deaths of thousands of civilians within a 140-meter radius.
Shortly after defeating Mahoraga, Haruta Shigemo's miraculous powers depleted, leading to his demise. Sukuna, on the other hand, ensured the safety of Megumi before compelling Itadori to witness the devastating destruction he had unleashed.
What to expect from Jujutsu Kaisen episode 42?

Episode 42 of Jujutsu Kaisen is expected to focus on Nanami Kento. In the previous episode's conclusion, the jujutsu sorcerer was shown with a partially burnt body while walking at Shibuya station. Given his condition, the likelihood of him encountering someone and facing a fatal outcome is high.
Regarding Yuji Itadori, he might pursue other curses in an effort to assist as many individuals as possible. Since Mahito's location remains unknown, there is a strong possibility that Yuji's next confrontation will be against him.
Editor's P/S
As a die-hard fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am eagerly anticipating the release of episode 18 of season 2. The previous episode left us with a major cliffhanger, as Sukuna unleashed his destructive powers and abandoned Yuji to face the aftermath. I am curious to see how Yuji will cope with the devastation caused by Sukuna's rampage and what consequences he will face.
Moreover, I am excited to learn more about the mysterious character of Sukuna. His motivations and abilities are still largely unknown, and I am eager to see how he will develop as the story progresses. I believe that Sukuna has the potential to be one of the most compelling villains in anime, and I am looking forward to seeing what he does next.
