Gojo and Geto diligently shielded Riko from various curse users, yet they were unable to save her from Toji Fushiguro. The repercussions of Riko's death left Gojo and Geto deeply affected, abruptly putting an end to their once "happy" high school existence.

Kokichi Muta's unexpected demise in Jujutsu Kaisen came as a shocker, as he was unveiled as a traitor, turning Gojo's worst fears into reality.
