Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer remembered a funny moment while filming a scene with Joe Manganiello on True Blood.

In a TikTok video shared by Entertainment Tonight on Friday, April 12, Paquin, 41, jokingly asked her husband, "Are we going to torture Joe again?"

Moyer, who is 54 years old, thought they were being really tough on Joe Manganiello. He and his wife shared their experience working on the HBO drama series. Paquin and Moyer played the roles of Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton for seven seasons. Manganiello, who is 47 years old, joined the cast in season 3 as Alcide Herveaux. Besides acting, Moyer also directed a few episodes on the show.

One particular scene that Moyer directed involved Alcide and Sookie sharing a romantic moment. Moyer vividly recalled how the camera focused on Joe's incredibly muscular back. His physique was so impressive that it seemed almost unbelievable.

Moyer shared that filming the scene with Manganiello took longer because of his size, which required the camera to cover more distance. He explained that it became quite technical but they still had to maintain the sexy vibe.

During filming, Moyer had to direct Manganiello in front of the entire crew, encouraging him to fully commit to the scene. He recalled telling Manganiello, "I need you to go for it Joe. I need you to grab the bits."

Paquin mentioned that during filming with Manganiello, he consistently sought her consent and made sure she was comfortable.

"He would often check in with me, asking, 'Is that okay, babe?' and I would just tell him, 'Please go ahead,'" she humorously shared with Moyer.

The actress shared that while some scenes were awkward to film, she did like getting direction from her husband.

“You know the inside and out of every single aspect of a film or TV show,” she said. “And that’s really hot.”

Paquin and Moyer began their relationship while working together on the TV show True Blood, which aired from 2008 to 2014. They got married in 2010 and became parents to twins, a son and a daughter, two years later. Even after True Blood ended, Moyer and Paquin have continued to collaborate on various projects, with their latest being the film A Bit of Light.

Moyer recently shared with We that their on-screen chemistry is so strong because of their deep understanding of each other.

There are times when I glance over at her, and she simply says, "I'll go back in." She instinctively knows when she needs to make adjustments. I am fortunate to be able to trust her to figure it out on her own because she is skilled at identifying what needs to be changed.
