And Just Like That fans will have to wait almost two years before new episodes drop on Max.
Max's "One to Watch" promo on YouTube hinted at the premiere date for season 3 of And Just Like That on Wednesday, December 6, as one of the programs set to return in 2025. The show is a spinoff of Sex and the City and aired its second season finale in August. The finale saw the separation of Carrie and Aidan, who rekindled their romance from the OG series. Aidan needed to return home to Virginia after their youngest child, Wyatt, was involved in a car accident due to emotional turmoil following his parents' divorce and new partners.
Aidan told Carrie the story, noting that he wouldn't be able to go back to New York City for at least five years.
During an August episode of the AJLT companion podcast, showrunner Michael Patrick King revealed, "Aidan now believes that bad things happen when he's not there," explaining, "He confesses to [Carrie] that he's truly the anchor for these three boys - that's who he's always been."
After Aidan’s heartfelt admission about the end of their relationship, he and Carrie shared a bittersweet final evening together before he departed from New York City. Seeking comfort, Carrie turns to her friend Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury), who is also grappling with the absence of her boyfriend Ravi Gordi (Armin Amiri), who has left for Egypt to film a movie, putting their romance on hold for five months. The two women then decide to elevate their vacation plans from the Hamptons to a trip to Greece.
“I had a feeling it wouldn't end with Carrie and Aidan, but rather with Carrie and Seema sitting on a beach in Greece, gazing out at the horizon,” said King, 69, at the time. "This is our little clue for you, the audience, and those who are curious about our thoughts."

He continued: “At the end, there’s a tiny thread of what we’re thinking, which is Seema saying, ‘Well we ran at love, and where did that get us?’ And she goes, ‘I’m waiting five months and you’re waiting five years.’ And Carrie responds, ‘Well, I may get some time off for good behavior.’ You would only say that if you’re already thinking, ‘It’s not gonna be five years.’ She’s very cute, but she does go on to say, ‘There will be others.’”

And Just Like That also stars Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Karen Pittman, Nicole Ari Parker and Sara Ramirez.
