The Boys: Vought International Breaks Silence on Black Noir's Fate

Vought International denies rumors of Black Noir's death, citing AI as the cause The Boys' fictional supe company insists that their superhero is still alive and well

In spite of what viewers witnessed in The Boys season 3, Vought International, the show's fictional superhero company, refutes allegations of Black Noir's gruesome death.

Vought has denied the validity of the claim, as well as the image depicting Black Noir's body with his internal organs exposed. According to the company, Black Noir was actually away on a mission overseas, and the Seven eagerly anticipates his return. This aligns with Vought's typical portrayal of the group's leader, Homelander.

Vought International denied the authenticity of the AI-generated image of Black Noir, stating that he is currently on a mission overseas and will be returning soon. However, those who have watched The Boys know the shocking truth - Homelander brutally murdered Noir after discovering that he had been keeping the truth about Soldier Boy being Homelander's biological father a secret from him. Noir's betrayal hit Homelander hard as he had always trusted him. Little did Homelander know that Noir had kept the truth hidden to protect him from the abusive Soldier Boy, believing that it was better for Homelander not to know the identity of the man responsible for his birth.

Homelander's murder of Black Noir was a shocking twist in multiple ways. Not only did Homelander show unwavering trust in Noir, but Noir was also the only member of Payback who wasn't killed by Soldier Boy seeking revenge. Fans were also surprised by Noir's death as it deviates from The Boys comics where Homelander was revealed to be a clone of Noir. Additionally, Noir's hidden identity may play into Homelander's deteriorating mental state and the show's promised escalation of violence in the upcoming season.

The Boys season 1-3 can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
