Among Us Unleashes Epic Collaborations in Honor of 5th Anniversary

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the popular indie game Among Us, Innersloth announced a new update and a collaboration. The update includes several menu changes and bug fixes, while the collaboration was met with enthusiasm on social media. Despite its initial release in 2018, Among Us remained relatively unknown for the first two years. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, more gamers found themselves with extra time to play and watch streams. As content creators discovered the game, sales soared and players were captivated by the social deduction title featuring adorable Crewmates and cunning Imposters. Werewolf enthusiasts in particular were drawn to the game, propelling it to become one of the most successful indie games of all time. With the game now turning five, Innersloth has plenty to celebrate.

Among Us has recently collaborated with Pusheen to introduce a new Cosmicube that adds a touch of cuteness and charm to the game. The Pusheen Cosmicube can be unlocked for 110 Stars, which is equivalent to $9.99, and offers players a range of accessories and costumes that can be earned by playing the game. Some of the exciting skins that players can earn include a Pusheen Pet, a full Pusheen Skin, a Cat Nap hat, and new nameplates. However, this collaboration is only available until September 13, 2023.

Apart from this collaboration, Among Us has also introduced a new look to the main menu. Players will now see a window view on the right side of the screen, while all the options remain on the left. The friend list and player ID have been shifted to the top of the screen. Additionally, players who log into Among Us on June 15 will receive a free cosmetic to commemorate the game's actual birthday. To celebrate, Innersloth will host a stream on its Twitch channel on June 15, starting at 12:00 PM Pacific/3:00 PM Eastern.

Pusheen has previously teamed up with indie games like Fall Guys, but this marks the first collaboration between the beloved cat-themed brand and Among Us. As the game reaches its five-year milestone, fans eagerly anticipate what other surprises Innersloth has in store for the future. Among Us is currently accessible on a variety of platforms, including Android, iOS, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
