On her first wedding anniversary without her late husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss, Allison Holker shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. "We find peace and gratitude in the memories of those who have forever changed our souls," she captioned a black-and-white photo from their wedding day. "As I celebrate our love on our anniversary, I am filled with tranquility, embracing the beautiful moments we shared with my whole heart."
Holker, who is 35, and her family received condolences from fans and well-known friends in the comments section. Ellen DeGeneres, who had collaborated with Boss on her own daytime talk show, expressed, "Sending you love."
Chrishell Stause commented, "Your beauty and strength are incredible. His light will always shine through you️," and Jeannie Mai wrote, "You are a blazing beam of inspiration to me️."
Holker's 15-year-old eldest daughter, Weslie, left three red heart emojis in the comments section. Boss and Holker got married in 2013 and later had a son, Maddox, 7, and a daughter, Zaia, 3. After their wedding, Boss adopted Weslie, Holker's daughter from a previous relationship.
Sunday would have been the 10th anniversary of marriage for the So You Think You Can Dance alums. The couple had previously commemorated their ninth wedding anniversary with throwback photos posted on social media in December 2022, just days before confirming Boss' passing at the age of 40.
Stephen "tWitch" Boss and Allison Holker, pictured above, faced a heartbreaking loss when the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that Boss passed away by suicide. However, a new autopsy report disclosed earlier this year that there were no drugs or alcohol detected in his system at the time of his death. According to the documents, Holker informed authorities that, as far as she knew, Boss did not have a history of suicide attempts or suicidal thoughts, and he also did not have any mental health concerns. Additionally, she mentioned that Boss did not have any financial or marital problems.
Holker spoke about her husband's passing in a statement from December 2022, referring to Boss as "the pillar" of their family. She expressed that his legacy goes beyond words and that his positive influence will endure. Holker also shared that they will continue to honor his memory every day and requested privacy for herself and their three children during this challenging time.
Following her husband's passing, Holker has been open about her grieving process, providing honest updates to her fans on social media. In May, she had her first TV interview since Boss' death.
"I still feel like I'm in a world of shock," she told Today. "Nobody was prepared for that moment and no one saw it coming. It breaks my heart that no one did."
Holker mentioned feeling "deeply saddened" that Boss' difficulties went unnoticed. "He wanted to be the one holding everyone else up, and I think the idea of having to ask for help was scary for him," she said. "He was full of love and positivity. He wanted to be everyone's Superman, and he said that often."
Reflecting on the "really difficult discussions" she's had with her children, she expressed, "To us, Daddy is in the stars. So, we can go outside and talk to him whenever we want."

Earlier this year, Holker marked Boss' 41st birthday in September with a heartfelt Instagram tribute. She wrote, "We honor our beautiful, sweet, kind and loving Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss," alongside family photos taken at Boss' burial site. "Forever in our hearts and minds, guiding and lifting us. We feel your presence every day and will be forever grateful for the beautiful times we shared together."
