Following the release of the debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, fans are already speculating about Rockstar's next project. Roger Clark, the voice of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, added fuel to the fire by expressing his belief that Red Dead 3 will eventually be made. However, this doesn't mean fans should expect the game anytime soon, or for Clark to be involved in the project.
Clarke's comments were made in a series of X/Twitter posts. While originally discussing the future of GTA Online after the announcement of GTA 6, a fan asked Clark about the potential for Red Dead 3. His response was intriguing.
"I'm certain we will see RDR3 one day. When that will be - I have absolutely no idea. Don't count on Arthur's involvement either. His story has been told, I feel."
It remains uncertain if Rockstar will officially confirm a new entry in its Red Dead series, but given the development schedule for GTA 6 until 2025, it's likely to be a while before any announcement is made. Considering the five-year gap between GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, it's safe to say we shouldn't expect to return to the Wild West anytime soon.
Nevertheless, Rockstar's fans have not abandoned the wild west. Red Dead Redemption 2, despite being released five years ago, continues to have a highly engaged player base. In the last month, the game reached a new peak of 77,000 players.

Editor's P/S
As a passionate fan of the Red Dead Redemption series, I am thrilled to hear Roger Clark's confidence in the future of Red Dead 3. His words give me hope that we will eventually return to the Wild West and experience another epic adventure. However, I understand that we may have to wait a long time for this to happen, as Rockstar is currently focused on Grand Theft Auto 6. Nevertheless, I am patient and willing to wait as long as it takes for Rockstar to create another masterpiece like Red Dead Redemption 2.
I agree with Clark that Arthur Morgan's story has been told and that it would be best not to bring him back for Red Dead 3. His journey was incredibly well-crafted and satisfying, and I believe it should be left as it is. However, I am excited to see what new characters and stories Rockstar has in store for us in the next installment of the series. I trust that they will create something just as captivating and memorable as Red Dead Redemption 2.
