Ed “Big Ed” Brown is no stranger to receiving interesting messages in his DMs. He shared that he receives wedding proposals almost every other day, but most of them are from people over 85 years old whom he doesn't even know the location of their nursing home, so he chooses not to respond.
In a recent exclusive interview on Tuesday, May 14, Ed, who is 59 years old, revealed that he received a particularly crazy DM from neighbors who invited him on a couple's trip to Florida, with all expenses paid. Despite being single, Ed found the invitation amusing and suggested meeting up for a drink locally instead. He mentioned that he receives many similar requests on a regular basis.
Ed has been engaged to Rose Vega and Liz Woods in the past, with both relationships featured on seasons of 90 Day Fiancé. He also has an adult daughter named Tiffany with his ex-wife Sandra Heckman. Since Ed and Liz recently ended their relationship for good, he has been receiving a steady stream of direct messages requests.
According to Ed, people often ask him out to dinner or lunch, but he feels they are more interested in meeting "Big Ed" rather than him. Despite this, he sees the positive side of being a public figure as it allows him to collaborate with charities such as the Remembering Nicholas Foundation.
The TLC personality receives a lot of requests from fans to create personalized videos on Cameo.
According to Ed, he is earning more money this year compared to last year. He mentioned that fans still love him and appreciate his chicken hat and scooter. This income helps him pay his bills.

Ed is not only involved in organizing charity events and supporting his lifestyle, but he is also on the lookout for love. He mentioned that dating feels strange to him because it often involves pretending to be someone else. Instead, he is focusing on building friendships and spending time with a small group of industry acquaintances, going out for lunch, playing Top Golf, and enjoying happy hours together. Ed is patiently waiting for the right person to come into his life.
Ed is looking for a genuine and authentic romance, preferring not to meet someone through a dating app or from being a fan of his appearance on 90 Day Fiancé.
He mentioned, "I've dated fans before and I wouldn't suggest it. The issue is that they are fans of the persona I portray on TV, not the real me. So, dating fans is usually not a good idea."

Ed, however, does know what he wants in his next serious relationship.
Ed told Us that he is searching for someone who respects him and whom he can also respect. He emphasized the importance of finding a partner who is secure in themselves. As a public figure, he finds it challenging to maintain relationships due to the spotlight. Therefore, he is looking for someone who does not seek attention, fame, or television exposure. The ideal partner should have self-love, be content, and find happiness within themselves. Ed believes that both individuals in a relationship should be responsible for their own happiness.
